Alt var ok😊 Leiligheten var vanskelig å finne ved hjelp av Google maps. Den ligger egentlig nært sentrum, og også nært stor dagligvarebutikk i motsatt retning. Det var veldig varmt i leiligheten midt på dagen, men det ble grei temperatur til vi skulle legge oss, og var heller ikke veldig varmt på morgenen. (Det var 28-30 grader i York mens vi var der.)

Quiet area, ten minute walk from York city centre. Secure building with little to no noise from adjacent neighbours. Nice decor. Lovely welcome pack with clear instructions and suggestions. Overall, would recommend!

Bed(s) were uncomfortable - can understand the sofa bed but main double bed slumped off to one side. Room was very hot and fan provided was quite poor.

The property is in a great location, just minutes away from the main shopping area. Situated along the river it is very peaceful, no traffic noise. And secure parking is included which is great! The apartment is very much the size of a hotel room, with separate bathroom, with the main open plan room separated into 3 sections, with kitchenette, bedroom, and then lounge area. It is equipped with everything you need for a short stay, including a washing machine should you need it.

Unfortunately, even though there are some great points to this property, and overall the property was clean, some details have been very overlooked. The shower head had pink mold on it, and the silicone around the shower grate has come away allowing dirt to accumulate and the edging is quite sharp when standing on it. The kitchen area, although equipped with everything you need and more, small details had been overlooked such as grease and cooking dirt on the kettle, as well as being filled with limescale. And food debris in the cutlery drawer. The bed is very uncomfortable and worn out as it dips down and feels like you will roll off it either side so my husband and I barely slept throughout our stay. The lounge had a sofa l, which looks great in the property but is very uncomfortable to sit on, and the rug was dirty and needed a good clean. Furthermore the lock on the apartment is very difficult to lock with the key, and needs replacing. There is a knack to locking it, but is very frustrating. In addition the gates to the car park through the walkways also work intermittently, we could not access the car park from the walkway through the gate if it was pushed shut. Luckily most of the time this was left open. And the gate to the stairway from the walkway did not always accept the code, having to enter it 3-4 times. I have notified the management company about all these points, they were very receptive I and believe they are looking into them.

The studio is small, but cosy, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our 3-days stay. It had a Murphy bed, and it was comfortable. What we enjoyed the most is the location. It was in a central part of York, yet very quiet. It was close to the M&S supermarket and that was a plus for us. Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore York for a short period.

Nothing really. The comment that I would add here is that the entry to the building and parking is a bit complicated (long instructions!) but it certainly makes it more secure. Once you get the hang of it, then it's fine.
