Laich Cottage

This is my 4th time at my fave cottage fiona we had a hard hr so went away to to get the best break away with loads scenery stopped at the macdonald turf huts 🛖 then the 3 wisters on way home saw loads stags aswell for it bei g very snowy with frost the cottage logfire was perfect

We never managed to use hot tub as pipes were frozen but fiona sent her kind son to help n foxed it jst wldnt keep heat with the coldness but that was out there control we cld jave waited but wldve took some time to heat but it didnt bother me as was last min booking wel get definitely next time al always be bk the new windows n mattress were amazing comfy n warmer thank u xx

Very well equipped everything you need

It was set in an idyllic and quiet area, was a beautiful cosy cottage everything we needed for a relaxing weekend with the bonus of having a hot tub and being pet friendly.

There was nothing we didn’t like

wonderful cottage with everything you would need. Did not use the hot tub because t if I ever come back that would be on my list. loved the log burner and there were so many logs to use -

We really liked the chimney and especially the hot tub. Our host Fiona was also really kind and helped us whenever we had questions.

It was a private location, tucked away and surrounded by greenery. It was well laid out and had everything we needed. It had a washing machine. It also had a hot tub, although we didn't use it. We called about a small issue and someone was there within ten minutes. Much appreciated.

It took us a while to find the washing machine as it was in an outbuilding. We tried the hot tub but couldn't figure out how to plug it to keep the water in. Better directions would have been helpful.

The cottage is homely, comfortable and well equipped. The adjacent gardens are wonderful. The location is rural and quiet and a very short journey to Stalker Castle and Appin village. Our 4 night stay was ideal.

No concerns at all

The cottage is lovely and well-equipped. The weather was pretty wet during our stay so we didn’t take advantage of some of the facilities. The area has loads of lovely walks (and bike rides, as far as we could tell). We didn’t meet Fiona, but she was quick to respond to questions and to offer suggestions by text. The guest book in the cottage is also full of helpful suggestions from previous guests. We appreciated the welcome gifts on the table when we arrived.

What a gorgeous gem of a place !!! We loved it!
