Seaview Cottage Bute

The location is fantastic, the view is gorgeous. 2 min walk to a beach for the dog to run on. 5 min taxi into Rothesay, or the bus passes often. Also loved the hot tub, it was ready for us to jump into when we arrived, nice & private, still with the great view. Bed was super comfy. Armchairs & footstools just gorgeous. Kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the place & will return.

The bathroom is lovely, spacious, clean. With a jacuzzi bath. We could just have done with an actual shower - although there is a handheld shower head so it’s manageable.

Very peaceful location lovely surroundings. The bed was so comfortable great nights sleep. The cottage was immaculate and had everything you needed for your stay. Hot tub was amazing .

01-03/12/23 We loved Absolutely!! everything, this wee gem of a place out the way of the town but still accessible, with fantastic views out to sea will now be our wee place of pure bliss to escape to total piece and quiet. We would totaly recommend Sea View Cottage.

After speaking to Allison on the phone to inform our arrival we pulled up outside this beautiful cosy warm looking cottage it was around 7.pm the whole place sparkled with fairy lights,. We opened the door to a welcoming beautifully set up spotless kitchen/dining area with everything you would have at home for your stay, the decor and lighting also stunning!!. Through to the main room/lounge area again beautiful! Warm and welcoming with a full side of the room floor to ceiling windows to catch every second of beautiful scenery again set up great with a very comfy bed, wardrob and hangers plenty of storage for clothes, tv, sofa bed, spare pillows and quits, throws, towels for the hot tub flipflops, robes, even a hairdryer. 2 very comfy lounge chairs sit at the window where you can kick back with your feet up and relax with a view no matter the weather, also access to the patio.The bathroom had all we needed and more with a spa bath and shower to totally chill out in and fresh towels, the patio area outside was also lovely especially lite up at night with two sitting areas, table and chairs with a view at the front and of course the hot tub!! all in all sea view cottage is a hidden gem we loved our stay and cant wait to go back 👌

The views, oh my god the views, from the living room were amazing. The quietness around the property was ideal for our honeymoon so we could just sit back and relax when we were there. The cottage has its own private access and all the modcons and creature comforts you need. We read reviews that there wasn't a shower, but it does have a shower hose in the incredible jacuzzi bath. We had our own private hot tub. The host checked in with us to make sure everything was going ok and organised a suitable time with us to change the hottub water. Fresh towels were provided along with the comfiest bathrobe and flipflops. The views from the hottub were also amazing, perfect for relaxing in the evening. Its a five minute drive from Rothesay, and there is a bus stop right outside the property when coming back from Rothesay. Its a 5 minute walk to Ascog bay beach. We are already planning to go back.

As it's part of a larger property you can't predict who will be next door. We were relatively fortunate during our stay but we were woken early a couple of mornings due to some inconsiderate behaviour. Totally beyond the hosts control. Otherwise it was all perfect.
