Very large apartment and friendly host

No basic cosmetics like soap to wash hands

It was spacious, with sufficient room for 3 adults on the ground level and 5 adults on the top floor. The owner was patient in waiting for us to arrive late in the evening.

The neighborhood isn’t within easy walking distance of restaurants.

We, a family of 4, had a great stay. The host, Mr. Sakhi, was welcoming, accommodating, funny and kind. Even though he doesn’t speak much English, communication with him was easy. We had much needed rest in his quiet and lovely place. The newly installed AC works quietly and nicely (costs extra $10 if you use it). We also used the washer for much needed laundry cleaning. The place is spacious and was our most restful stay during our 7 day Morocco trip.

The following comments have nothing to do with our stay. Nevertheless, you may find it relevant. We drove from Marrakesh to Fes via Merzouga. The first part of the drive was fine even though we passed multiple police check points. From Merzouga to Azrou, however, we were stopped by police twice, and fined without a ticket. We saw other foreigners got pulled over as well. So make sure to “respect Morocco’s code” while driving and study the different shaped stop signs in advance. Be warned that some of them are small and in French.

It was a hot day a we had to open the windows. Unfortunately there were kids playing in the street below until 11.30pm and then some adults flashed up. It kept us awake. Perhaps a fan would have helped so we could close the windows. There is no a/c

The hospitality was amazing, we stayed one night on our way from Fes to Merzouga. Really good value. It is a whole apartment with everything one can ask for!

Would like to see a small air conditioner in bed room, because this region is very hot in July, but wasn't big problem for us

The host is kind, helpful and friendly. We were able to book last-minute. It was affordable. It was fine for a quick stop-over stay.

The whole space needed a thorough cleaning, and the sheets had stains like they hadn't been washed. Plus the blankets were obviously not washed. The bed was quite uncomfortable even by Moroccan standards; it needs a mattress topper at the very least.

Easy to find app, in nice town, very nice host (unfortunatelly he didn't speak English), clean and very big appartment.
