Breakfast was left in the fridge for our two night stay, the property was clean and modern

Super clean apartment on the first floor with needed kitchen equipment for make a light meal. The apartment is all white, which makes it easy to see that the apartment is very clean. There are bathrobes and slippers for when one gets back “home”, and dishwasher for cleaning the dishes so one does not need to hand wash. The bed and pillows are on the firm side (perfect for me). There is a small convenience/supermarket just a few steps away, and a larger one (Pingo Doce) about 5 min walk away (I am a speed walker FYI). The bus terminal is 5 min away (Google map says 7 min). All the “tourist sites” are near the apartment. Train station is about a 10 min walk (Google map says 13-15 min). Can’t comment on parking as I didn’t drive, but I saw parking sign near the square where the apartment is located. Margarida provides breakfast for the entire stay, so please let her know if there is any dietary restriction. I didn’t as I didn’t expect it to be a “complete” continental breakfast (bread, prosciutto, cheese, milk, fruit juice, fruit, water, soda and even a bottle of vino verde!). I am gluten/sodium/sugar free due to health issues, so it isn’t easy for me when I travel, but for future visits I would definitely let Margarida know about my dietary restrictions. Overall I really enjoyed this stay and would definitely stay here again when I am back to Braga!

If I were to nitpick, it would be that one could hear noises from the square (delivery, bell chime, etc.) and neighbors (just normal level such as conversations or television), but that is to be expected being in a flat in a row of connecting buildings in the city. It didn’t bother me as it’s very faint, but may be for those super sensitive to sound. Personally I wouldn’t count it as a negative.

Even with air conditioning on almost all day, wasn't easy to heat the apartment (December)

The location was great and the building beautiful. outside was a main square and parking just under the square in a huge parking garage which we used at a good rate with a card provided by the host. The host whom I did not meet in person was easily reached on the phone.

The bed in the bedroom was large but it was a bit hard. A nice mattress topper and smaller, less hard, better pillows would be a good addition. the bathroom was nice but the water pressure could be improved.

Very central to everything and the parking is across the street, underground. You can pay 10 euro per day for parking and it is worth the price.

Nothing

Stayed in the Lilia apartment which was spacious and well designed. Everything was well thought out, breakfast was good, location to all amenities and access to the town centre was very good. Everything we requested was catered for.

Only one gripe to mention, when flashing the toilet in the bedroom the water would continuously drain on and one had to flash it once or twice again to stop the noisy leaking. I am sure it can be fixed.

Location, comfort, mattress and pillows were amazing.

Not enough coffee capsules.

Spacious apt, very clean and quiet with a washing machine and drying rack. Beautiful china and teapots, cold cuts and large selection of beverage provided in the fridge. Good taste and high quality throughout the apartment!

No one answered the door when I buzzed the door. Had to make an international call to the number posted above the doorbell. A few minutes later, the door opened and we were given the key by a maid. She said “upstairs” and immediately disappeared in 10 seconds. Would have liked a little more welcome and instructions on the Wifi PW and the washing machine. Be aware of the dark hallway. Have your phone flashlight ready if you arrive late.

Breakfast was simple European type: meat, cheese, bread, yogurt and fruit. Orange juice and nespresso pods were provided too.
