Sifnos "Sofia apartments" sea view

Location is amazing and the host extra friendly- would definitely return soon! View was spectacular

- Location near Faros is convenient, also close to Apollonia (groceries etc.) - Great uninterrupted views: you’re very close to the sea (it’s facing east, so great for sunrise/morning light) - Comfortable bed - Overall, excellent value (at least off season in early May).

- Staircase leading from the parking area to the house doesn’t have a railing, and isn’t lit at night, which isn’t very safe - AC unit (which also does heating) is in the living room – as others mentioned, there is NO AC unit in the bedroom (so we were cold at night in May, and I expect other guests would be very warm in the summer) - Overall, very little equipment to cook and some basics missing: no hand soap, no kitchen towels (I had to ask for some), no dish drying rack, poorly positioned power outlets (see photo - quite risky if you’re also using the stove!), very old looking stove (burners were all very rusty). We didn’t cook at all in the end except to make Greek coffee and toast bread - Bathroom is basic: only one bar for drying towels (so space for only towel), shower with plastic curtains (so easy to flood everywhere unless you keep the curtain INSIDE) - Access is via a small, narrow road, with no signage until you get to the property (use google maps) - adding a sign at the left turn from the main road would be helpful Overall, this place has a lot of potential given the sea-facing location but would need some significant upgrades and better equipment overall.

ESPECTACULAR EMPLAZAMIENTO

Amazing location and Sofia is a wonderful host. We really enjoyed our stay here with a breathtaking view over the ocean all day and stargazing at night. The apartment is very spacious for two or even more persons and well equipped. We can unconditionally recommend this location and will do our best to come back hopefully in the near future.

Our stay was perfect: the apartment is beautiful, spacious, well furnished and with an astonishing sea view, in person is even better than the pictures! It's easy to reach, in a calm and isolated area, but very close to Faros town and beaches (couple of minutes by car or 15/20 minutes on foot). btw a car or motorbike is recommended to visit the beautiful island of Sifnos. If you're brave enough you can even reach the sea for a swim from a pathway on the rocks under the house. Sofia is a kind and helpful host, she gave us good recommendations about restaurants and places to go. We already miss this magical place!

Nothing really; maybe some more towel rack is needed in the bathrooms.

My apartment overlooked the sea. The whole place was extraordinarily beautiful. It was very clean and accomodating. It was perfect.

There is nothing I didn’t like.
