Sifnos "Sofia apartments" sea view

Wonderful view. Impossible to beat. Very quiet independent house (not a duplex), and spacious. Many recent visible improvements (one brand new very chic bathroom, new furniture in the main bedroom, including a very comfortable queen-size mattress, and 2 bedside tables with night lights). Bug screens everywhere. Expresso machine in the kitchen, with coffee and sugar...super! Deck with lots of shade and furniture to eat outside. Well equipped house. Away from the hustle and bustle but not that far (took us 15 minutes to walk down to Faros and 20-25 to walk back up to the house). Tip : if arriving by bus, ask the bus driver to drop you at Cape Napos which is fairly close and will save you the walk up from Faros with your luggage. Again, the view... We hope to return soon!

As we mentioned to Sophia, the A/C of this unit is in the kitchen, not in the bedrooms. The cool air does not spread that well to the rest of the house. Also one of the lights on the house where Sofia lives (the next house) has a pure white bulb that is blinding at night. Sophia said she'll try to fix these two things (might have been fixed by the time you read this). The layout of this unit (#3 with one queen bed, one single bed and one sofa bed) is odd by canadian standards : the nice bathroom is actually an ensuite to the secondary bedroom (the one with the single bed and the foldout couch). Also to get to the secondary bedroom you must walk through the main bedroom (and climb 2 steps). Not an issue for a couple with or without kids, but might not be ideal for two couples. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect!

The view was amazing, apartment was clean and with all amenities. Host was extremely helpful and very accommodating. Would highly recommend this lovely apartment.
