Spinola Palace Apartment

Very clean, cozy comfortable and near to historic centar apartment. Alex is very good and helpful host.

It was very clean and location was good.

The lack of natural light. We always had to have the lights on.

The apartment was pretty modern.(but in the pictures looks better than reality). You will find there all you need(towels, iron, hairdryer). Also, the apartment is close to the Genoa Antico Porto. The bed is very comfortable, but the sofa is not so good.

1. The shower cabin could be more cleaner, there were spots of mold. 2. We knew that the apartment is situated in an old building and it wasn't a problem for us, but it was a problem that for a week we could't open the windows for fresh air because all the windows are în a very small yard bethween the building and all the air conditionairs were there, it was very hot, humid. Also, there was an indian restaurant or something like that and all the day was a very intens smell of everything. 3. Of course it was a good thing that we were located în the old Town, very close to all the atractions, but the street where the apartament is located seemed to us to be a little dangerous, specially after 9 pm. There were a lot of gangs with dangerous activities. 4. And something that we didn't like about that street and all the similar streets around it was about the smell. It is a very bad smell all around...

Awesome location, awesome space. It was a little bit hard to find but the video explaining how to get there really helped.

Location is ok since it's within walking distance to the main attraction as well as public transportation.

If you are carrying anything more than a backpack this isn't the place for you. Parking lot that is suggested by host is about an 8 minutes walk and since it is mainly pavement you have to walk on, it is going to be a bumpy ride. In regards to parking, I would suggest finding a better one that is closer to the apartment or at least cheaper. The vouchers that the host provided were not valid and I ended up paying 108 euro for a 2 day and 14 h stay which only adds up to the cost of your trip. The street on which the apartment is located seems dodgy during the evening/nights. The apartment is dark since windows are only showing into an internal court, which also makes airing close to impossible because of the smells that come from it. Host was pretty dismissive while chatting on whatsapp.
