The Sorabellas

We had a fab time at Sorabellas. The host was super kind and proactive, while the place was perfect for two people. Having breakfast on the roof was definitely the biggest perk. Walking distances to attractions and amenities, we totally felt at home. 100% recommended!

Everything - location, cozy apartment, fantastic hosts, lovely rooftop terrace! Again, cannot say enough about our hosts, who met us at the car to help with luggage, provided recommendations galore, including one for BLESS restaurant, which is a couple doors away!!

Fantastic stay! 1. Superhost: Michele is the perfect host — from the moment he met us in the parking lot to helping us load our car at the end of the trip, he exceeds throughout. He provided lots of great tips and probably a hundred small touches in the room to improve your stay 2. Location: Perfect spot in old city, a block from the sea, and close to attractions 3. Clean 4. Our stay at the Sorabellas was perfect! Michele was very kind and welcoming, picking us up from the train station and driving us to the property. On the way we had a quick tour to see where all the recommended restaurants, attractions and beach access was. Check in was very easy and Michele helped carry the bags to the room with a run down on the amenities and how to operation air con/locks/awnings. All amenities were met, with additional beach umbrella for use and cooler bag. The room was clean and well maintained, with a comfortable bed to sleep. The rooftop terrace is stunning, a great spot to sit down with a glass of wine and watch the sunset or relax into the night. Location was perfect only a short walk from the beach and Medieval town. Overall we were blown away with the hospitality and care Michele and family showed to us. We highly recommend staying at the Sorabellas for a visit to Gaeta and we cannot wait to come back again.

Everything has been perfect. The apartment is very nice, fully equipped with everything you need. There is a small kitchen: I didn't cook while I was there, but if you want to, you have everything to do it, including oil, salt, etc. The host also supplies the apartment with small items you might want during your stay (bitter soda drinks, some snacks, biscuits, water, etc.)... this is a plus. The apartment has a big and comfortable balcony, but the gem is the TERRACE - see photos. It is a large, fully furnished terrace (there's even a fridge up there!) which is entirely for you. I enjoyed a lunch and an aperitivo there. The breeze and the view (sea, mountain) were so exceptional that I didn't want to leave! What also makes this place special is the host, Michele: he is very kind and will do everything possible to make your stay amazing. He provides lots of information on where to go and what to see, and he is always available to supply additional information or help. You can see that, for him, it is not just a job but a passion, and he truly wants to make you happy! The apartment is perfectly clean. It is within walking distance (30 minutes) to the old part of the city, but there is also public transport if you prefer not to walk (I walked every time). You can leave your luggage on the day of check-out if needed, which is also very convenient. I will go back! 😊

The Accomodation was fantastic in every way. The location was central and within easy walking distance to the beach and shops. The apartment itself was finished to a very high standard and beautifully decorated. Absolutely everything you could need has been provided from lovely complimentary food, drink and snacks when you first arrived - including coffee maker and coffee pods, take away cups, bags for the beach, ohine chargers and usb outlets, toiletries, slippers, washing machine, pegs, Netflix… air conditioning was superb, electric shutters for windows and information about the local area. And then there was the host Michele and his wife who went over and above to help in any way, day or night, including help with train cancellations and transportation from Formia. I cannot recommend this property enough and wouldn’t hesitate to return. In fact, I will make it a point to.

Unfortunately access to the roof terrace is only available if you rent the 3rd floor apartment or when 3rd floor apartment is not occupied. This is detailed in the information.

The apartments are beautiful. The owners put in a lot of work updating the apartments and they look very welcoming. However, it is the owners that make this property amazing. They provide great local recommendations and support. We were on vacation in Italy and we discovered that there would be a train strike on the day that we were scheduled to leave Gaeta. The owners helped us figure out an alternative means of getting to Rome.

Great terrace with a fantastic view. The level of assistance from the owner Michele goes above and beyond. In the room you can find everything you need and more, everything has been thought in detail. Located in via Indipendenza the apartment is in the city centre and 15 minutes away from Serapo beach. The free parking is a super plus, especially if you like to drive around to visit some of the numerous nice beaches in Gaeta and visit the città vecchia. Amazing

Quite few stairs but Michele has been super helpful bringing the suitcase up to the apartment at our arrival and also down at the checkout

Perfect stay at the Sorabellas. The room is cozy and the view from the top balcony fantastic. The hosts are very welcoming and give plenty of tips for your stay at Gaeta. 11/10!

Michele was just amazing, went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. Even when our own ability to find our way around was a struggle Michele was there to help out at the drop of a hat. Just wonderful hosts and perfect for our short stay. Provided many recommendations which were all exceptional. Thankyou and Bravo Gaeta! Thoroughly recommend sorrabellas!
