The Sorabellas

Located on a historic street with shops and stalls - ideal for browsing. The seaside promenade with cafes etc was round the corner. The beautifully decorated studio apartment with balcony was a gem. Bathroom spacious - great. Hosts Michele and Valentina looked after us. Collected us from the station at Formia, and back again!

A Beautiful place, great location, very comfortable, has everything you need. Super nice hosts - were very helpful and gave lots of great recommendations. Would stay here again for sure.

I've slept in around 50 establishments so far and this one is definitely the best one ever! Michele is a wonderful host who gave us all the possible info about the town and its surroundings and also offered to show us around. If we had any troubles with finding something he was always there to answer all the questions. Just incredible! The appartment itself was also absolutely great. It's basically fully equipped to do anything you need! The fridge was full of little snacks and two bottles of water, also welcoming drinks. We had coffee, tea, olive oil and crackers waiting for us as well. I was happy to see plenty of fresh towels, enough soap for a couple of days, clean and working laundry machine, beautiful balcony. There was a TV with Netflix as well. New, working AC. Shutters in the windows if you wanna make it dark and take a midday nap. The bed was also crazy comfortable. Just incredible, for this price this was better than a Hilton hotel!

We lover everything about the property. It was centrally located, and everything we needed was catered for within the apartment. The pull-down sofa bed was extremely comfortable. The hosts could not have been more helpful, they were absolutely fantastic in every way. We enjoyed the room with the wonderful roof terrace, beautiful views and comfortable furniture. We would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning. Many thanks Michele and family.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The hosts at the Sorabellas were really, really helpful which makes a huge difference when you're travelling with a family. They were very responsive to queries, very flexible. I addition, our room was lovely and really clean with everything you need as a family. It was so nice. The communal areas (the stairwell and entrance) were also really clean and smartly decorated. The hosts definitely take care of their building and the rooms. The guesthouse itself was on a nice old street, nice and cool, with a few bakeries, a few mini markets, a couple of trattorias and some fruit and veg shops and stalls. It wasn't busy and it was quiet at night, no late bars or anything. Perfect for a young family. I would stay here again if I visit Gaeta again. I didn't take any photos of our room, but I would say that the photos on Booking.com are pretty accurate. Thank you!

Everything you need and more! Great location in the center with a big parking lot nearby, close to restaurants, bars, shops but quiet neighbourhood. The room has a perfectly equipped kitchen, breakfast and a cute balcony with flowers. The host Michele is the best, gave us all the infos you need about what to do and where to eat. Tip: ask for the bike rental, it’s the best way to get around in Gaeta. Definitely recommend!

We are so happy we decided to stay at The Sorabellas. The hosts met us when we arrived and explained everything about the apartment and what we can do in Gaeta. They sent us info on were to eat, what to see, where best to shop, where to see panoramic views and much more! They really went above and beyond to make sure we're comfortable during our stay. The apartment is located in an amazing narrow street in Gaeta close to the see / Lungomare. There's a supermarket on the next corner and plenty of small shops to buy cheese, meat, sweets, wine and olives to keep you going. You can walk to the centre and the fish market as well as to the other side of town where you'll find the main beach (Serapo). We had access to the main terrace on the top of the building offering an amazing view over the sea - just fantastic. The wifi was very strong everywhere, even on the terrace. It's perfect to do some work (if you need to) while chilling and enjoying the great view. The apartment (and the whole house, landing etc.) was very clean, equipped with everything we needed. It's all very new and well maintained. Special thanks for the host for looking after us so well! Tips (recommended by our hosts): 1. There's a market on Wednesdays by the old station - highly recommended! 2. Do try Tiella in the Pizzeria del Porto - especially the one with Polpo 👌🏼 3. Go and have a drink at the Tide Bar by the sea opposite the square. 4. If you're into seafood you MUST go and try Comeilmare by the fish market. (my favourite)

Very convenient apartment in walking distance to town center, harbor, restaurants. The couple that owns the apartment could not have been nicer, or more helpful. They helped us with our luggage, parking and gave us many ideas of what to do as well as restaurants. Even recommended a good hairdresser. Excellent value.
