Spacious Loft in the Historical Centre

Sijainti on loistava, lyhyt kävelymatka kaikkiin nähtävyyksiin. Alueella on paljon ravintoloita, kahviloita ja ruokakauppa on lähellä. Huoneisto on tilava, hyvin varustettu ja sijaitsee rauhallisella kadulla. Laurens vastasi nopeasti viesteihimme. Gentissä opiskeleva tyttäremme pääsi yöpymään kanssamme, siitä suuri kiitos Laurensille ja hänen vanhemmilleen. Saimme myös mahdollisuuden käyttää pesukonetta ja kuivausrumpua, joka oli omistajan tiloissa. Ihana kaupunki. Varmasti tulemme uudestaan.

Space

It is a loft but be prepared for 3 flights of stairs. The bedroom is also in the mezzanine area

De ligging is fantastisch, het appartement is heel groot, schoon en comfortabel. De douche was heerlijk en er is zelfs een ligbad.

Voor ons was het geen probleem, maar als je slecht ter been bent dan zijn de trappen naar de 3e verdieping wel een probleem. Ook voor het bed moet je een uitdagend trapje op, maar extra fijn dat er dan ook een slaapbank is in een apart gedeelte van dit grote appartement.

Great location, especially considering the price. Anything you might need is within a few minutes of walking. Stores, night stores, touristy stuff, multiple cafés and restaurants. The place itself is very spacious, it was very convenient for having my friends over before heading out. The kitchen is well equipped, so is the bathroom.

Shower water pressure was a bit low. TV is not a smart-tv, so I couldn't send my movies to it from my phone without HDMI-over-USB capability. All in all, I'd still pick this place over any other if I visit the city again.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral und unsere Anreise mit Auto war sehr einfach, denn ein günstiges Parkhaus liegt nur 5 min zu Fuß entfernt.

Mit fällt nichts ein. :)

We stayed for 6 wonderful nights. The apartment was beautiful & comfortable. Host was friendly & attentive. It felt like a home away from home. Location was great, & short walk to the church & amenities. Many cafes around the area. Felt very safe walking to apartment after dark. Will come back if we return to Gent in future.

Would be better if the door access is a digital lock instead of physical key as we need to climb the flight of stairs to unlock the door if 1 of us returns to apartment 1st. Other than that, apartment was wonderful.

Beautiful spacious apartment in excellent location. Laurens is very helpful and responsive.

We prefer a kingsize bed rather than a double but that is personal preference.
