Spacious Loft in the Historical Centre

Beautiful apartment with lots of light and space. Well-equipped.

The loft is a beautiful place, great design, comfortable and quiet. Much better than the photos. The host was really accommodating, offered to make up an extra bed for our daughter (who is studying in Ghent).

Steep stairs to the 3rd floor might be an issue if you are not fit and able😊

A lovely light and spacious apartment in a perfect location in central Ghent. The bed and sofa bed are really comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Great communication with the hosts. Would highly recommend.

Large apartment with lots of light (and you can use blinds if you don't want as much light) More than enough space for chilling out during the day (comfortable main couch and secondary couch also there if needed) Location is great with many restaurants, coffee shops and other shopping nearby) Spacious kitchen allows you to cook a normal meal if desired, also there's a large enough trashcan (I know, but many properties have a small one) Hosts were nice and accomodating during the whole stay

Sometimes the internet worked, other times it wasn't fast enough to play a video or even disconnected altogether, and wifi is shared with house owners so you/them may see what you're watching (why not split wifi for guests and hosts?). I was searching for an apartment with a washing machine and dryer, this one has both listed as being placed in the kitchen, but unfortunately that's not the case, they're placed in the owner's bathroom one floor below and you need to schedule using them. Thin wooden door to your apartment causes that you hear a lot of what's going on in the building so the sense of privacy simply isn't there (stairs in the building are noisy). It's not the most tall-people-friendly apartment because the ceiling is not flat as it's at the highest 3rd floor, so if you're moving around the kitchen, you bumb your head sometimes, and lights above the kitchen table are a bit too low as well, I bumped my head several times and once spilled a coffee because of that, part of it got on the couch for which I am sorry. Description says it's a very quiet street, but with all windows closed we could still hear a lot of partying from outside until maybe 2-3 AM (this was almost every day for 8 days). With that said, we could not host our own little party for two because the quiet time starts at midnight, but because we didn't know we'd be in such proximity to others (with our thin door), we had to cancel our own party altough it was raging outside. On the last night we wanted to take a bath (bought pricy Lush bath bombs) but realized we can't, because the beautiful large bathtub doesn't work, the plug wouldn't fit. The bathtub is prominent in the photos and therefore some people might book just for that. Also very low water pressure. I had better water pressure (and internet) when traveling in developing countries than in the centre of Ghent).

Location was perfect! It is in the historical center. I attended a meeting at Het Pand and it was 1-minute away. Also, the hosts are amazing!

Excellent location! Nice large apartment with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the apartment and would definitely stay again.

No fault of the host but the stairs to the apartment are quite steep up 3 floors. We understood this beforehand and had no issues but could be a problem for older folks with climbing issues. The apartment is worth the climb.

Beautiful sunny apartment which was in the centre and only a few minutes from the main sights of Gent. Nicely furnished, relaxing after a day of walking the cobbled streets. Great communication from Laurens on getting there and checking in and out.
