Appartement Stelo Gosau-Hallstatt

The apartment was clean, the staff were helpful, and the location was excellent.

There was a note in the kitchen stating that a €400 fee would apply if the fire alarm went off, which made us anxious since there was no extractor hood above the stove. We had to cook very cautiously

Scenic view, pleasant interior, comfy balcony.

The bed mattress was too soft for my taste, but thats not a major issue.

The room was spacious for the both of us, and since we were on a ski trip that was welcome. The internet was horrible, so in spite of our own chromecast, we couldn't watch anything, cause the tv couldn't connect to the wifi. So 7 days, of German tv was we had to relax to in the evening. The balcony was great, and a lovely view to wake up to. The restaurant has a decent buffet, but no ala carte options. There are 2 ski rental options, right next door which we used, and also supermarket and butchers. So the location and spaciousness is the best. The kitchen has no ventilation whatsoever, so cooking which we prefer, was not really an easy option. The drawers were falling off, and the utensils were not clean when we arrived, so we had to run it through the dishwasher. It was a nightmare to get coffee capsules, which sucked. The saunas had everyone naked, and since majority of the people in the sauna were above 60 it made it super uncomfortable, as they kept staring, and even though we had a bathing suit on, it was frowned upon by the naked people. It was so uncomfortable that we never used the pool and spa after that one attempt.

Stunning Location!

The room is not so clean and the garbage did not take away,

The bed is not good and the room looks dirty

It was clean and well-equipped

The kitchen is not our taste but it was possible to cook for ourselves

The apartment was amazing and had everything we needed. The balcony had a stunning view of the mountains. We had our morning coffee here every day which was very relaxing. The location was great, a short drive to Hallstatt and Gosausee. The bed was also very comfy.

The staff could pull a smile during check-in and check-out and be a bit more engaging.
