Abbey View

We stayed at Abbey View last year, the place is very comfotable and homely, it has all the facilities you need for a very good stay. Very close to the market square and only a 20 minute walk to the golf course or rcaecourse. Great place to stay, great location and a very fair price for what you get for your money. Lin and Richard (hosts) make them selves available should you need to contact them.

The stairs are quite steep and may be a problem with anyone that has mobility issues, but apart from that minor issue its all good.

Bedroom no mirrors need dressing table and stool Couldn’t dry my hair properly as no mirrors and in shower no where to put soap and need space to put shampoo,cond, moisturisers etc. Did not expect the stairs to be so steep I was quite frightened.

Wonderful stay at an amazing property. The location can not be bettered, just of the Square overlooking it and the Abbey. The house had everything we needed, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The bottle of wine, tray of snacks and pint of milk in the fridge were lovely additions. We can not recommend Abbey View highly enough for any stay in Kelso.

No meals included central position in town was good property clean and well presented

Windows were very draughty in lounge, bathroom and shower dated but functional. Stairs with winders over 3 floors was difficult for a person of over 80 and although details said split level it did not indicate 3 floors or difficulty for some elderly people
