We had a lovely few days at Jackels rest. The location was a great stop off for our trip further north. I was working for a few days and the internet was fine for video calls etc although the host said that it can be a bit variable depending on the weather. The house was cosy and comfortable and the kitchen was basic but very well equipped. It even had an air fryer and a slow cooker! Jan and Kelvin provided lots of helpful information before we arrived and during our stay and were very friendly and welcoming.

I like everything. It was perfect few nice away with our furry dog 🐕

A bit slow to warm up in the morning (November).

Kitchen was small. There was no oven. Just a single induction hob and a combi microwave
