"Last minute booking"

Nice location in a beautiful town, with lots to do locally & good base if you want to travel a bit further a field. Very clean ,exceptional customer service from caretaker/ owner This holiday let was last minute due to our original booking being cancelled by the letting company, we were very pleased with our alternative choice

Needs a bit of TLC, basic kitchen but plenty of eat out options in the town

The location was great

The whole flat is very tired, lots of things broken, the shower rail to hold shower is broken so can’t adjust; the shower tray overfilled after a couple of mins. The tv upstairs didn’t work, the whole place smelt like an old smokers granny flat. Music blaring from the downstairs neighbour til 0430am was also not fun.

"Construction site outside ruined this property for me"

The house itself was nice and comfortable. Lots of extra blankets which is needed in this weather. A sea view...

I left a day after arrival. When I arrived my heart dropped as I saw a live construction site directly outside the property. The drilling, sound of machines moving & yelling workers could be heard from the bathroom, bedroom and living room. It could even be heard through my headphones. I actually found the experience distressing and upsetting. The host refused to offer any compensation, saying there was nothing they could do. Thankfully the person who was acting as the go between for the property found me a new place which was much appreciated as it meant my trip wasn't totally ruined.
