Constantinos Apartments

Location, location, location !!! Superb!! View is beautiful, but the whole island is beautiful. First time to Kefalonia and after looking around the island we were so pleased we had chosen Constantinos. Great area, easy walk to Lassie restaurants, the steps down to beach straight from flat were easily managed by myself, who has a crook knee. Bar underneath all managed by Constantino. Burgers there were the best anywhere. Sitting at the bar ( under the flats) offered the amazing view...as it did from deck outside flat. Very good value. Comfy bed, good pillows, ( not always the case). Serviced daily, which was a pleasant surprise. Towels and sheets changed regularly. But it is an old style flat.

There were so many pluses and yet I've only rated it 8, because of the bathroom. Very original flat. We had flat No 1 , kitchen in good condition, bedroom OK. BUT the bathroom is in desperate need of reno. There was a broken fixture in bathroom which was hazardous and Costantino did address the problem but it did take a few days. We opted for cold showers at the outside shower ( for 4 days out of 7). Such an old bathroom is extremely unpleasant. The robe for your clothes could do with replacing. The umbrella on our side of the deck ( patio) was broken, was difficult to get good shade at hottest time of day.

Amazing location, lovely hosts, fabulous island

We had a lovely 3 night stay in these apartments, and it was just what was needed but others have said too short.The accommodation is basic but that's not a problem as you have everything that you need and the location is perfect.... Just a couple of flights of steps (via the nice beach bar) and you are at the beach and the gorgeous sea. The sunsets are beautiful If only we had been able to go for longer, I would definitely return 😁

The view is outstanding. A few steps from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops.

Apartment a bit run down but the view made up for it.

Excellent location just above Makris Gialos beach, nice patio to sit out with sunbeds table and chairs and uninterrupted view of the sea and steps down to the beach for a swim (last few are steep so maybe use other steps by adjacent taverna)

Shower tiles and curtain could do with refurb/ replacement as black in places but otherwise clean and hot water except once when it was late in day and maybe solar heated water all used up. Cafe directly below, steps down and back of beach would benefit from a tidy up. The broken umbrellas and rubbish in cafe just needs taking away, steps should be improved at the bottom (wonky wooden crate and rocks to navigate) and could be so much nicer. However the taverna next door is a long time favourite of ours, beautiful views, tidy, great food and no noise disturbance from either cafe.
