I Balconi sul Duomo

Was ideal - so central and traditional.

The location was perfect, in the heart of Lecce and close to duomo. The two small balconies are really nice. The apartment in very spacious.

The decor is a bit outdated but everything worked so that did not bother us.

Posizione, vista e luminosità eccezionali. Appartamento grande, ben arredato ed accessoriato. Letto e cuscini comodi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Piccolo neo, ma prevedibile, è il rumore che arriva dalle due centralissime e frequentatissime vie su cui affacciano i balconi. In questo periodo di feste lo "struscio", con chiacchiere e botti vari, è andato avanti fino a notte fonda. La mattina presto è poi il turno del passaggio della raccolta differenziata, della spazzatrice ecc. Le finestre, antiche, isolano poco (anche dal vento che qui soffia spesso e forte). Personalmente me lo aspettavo, pertanto ero preparata e attrezzata e non ho avuto grandi problemi.

The host was very responsive and nice and responded quickly and well to my concerns. The apartment was really spacious. The hot water in the shower never ran out (yay!). There was a kitchen. There were two balconies facing different ways, one over the square and one down the main shopping street. The location was right on the beautiful main square and at the crossroads of two main shopping streets. So, you didn't have to go far.

It would be helpful to have an info sheet or booklet to let the guest know things like how to access the internet (I had to go outside and message the owner to find out) and other things. Also, as there is a kitchen, directions to the farmer's market. Things like that would be nice. Mostly the internet though. There weren't enough lights - it was quite dim in there. It was clean, but not professionally cleaned. Better cleaning tools in the kitchen would be nice - I used paper towel aka kitchen roll to wash my dishes because I couldn't find a cloth. It was pretty loud because of its location, so it wouldn't suit everyone. I used my white noise app and slept fine though.

Appartamento carino e confortevole. Vista magnifica. Host molto gentile, cortese e disponibile!

Posizione ottima, vista stupenda, cucina arredata, divano e letto comodo, proprietario gentilissimo.
