Very nice apartment, well furnished. Fantastic terrace with beautiful views! Peaceful location. Close to the station and centre of the old town.

A lot of steps to climb but manageable if you are fit.

The apartment was fabulous. The terrace especially, which was gorgeous. Quiet at night so could get a good nights sleep.

The Terrace is definitely the star of the show great for sunny days or relaxing with a bottle of wine. Great cake shop just around the corner for your morning coffee. Marco is a friendly host , the property has most things you need and is comfy and quiet - right by the city wall so easy to get around Lucca - also good value for Lucca we thought.

Its a bit of a climb to get to the top floor so will keep you fit otherwise all good !!

Excellent host, good speedy communication, met us at the property to show us the facilities. Great location within the historic centre, sites are just a few minutes walk away as are restaurants and shops. The terrace is lovely with great view over the walls and over to the towers. The apartment has all that you need for a stay here - I would recommend.

As stated on the property information it is up 5 flights of stairs so be aware if you have heavy luggage - worth it in our view for the lovely terrace,

Absolutely the best place I’ve ever stayed. The terrace was huge and had the best view in Lucca. We ended up eating out there every night because it was the nicest view we found.

If you’re tall, mind your head as the door is about 5 foot 4 and slanted roof in the bedroom but it’s worth the sacrifice for the terrace!

The owner met us when we arrived and gave us a walk through the flat. Very clean throughout and aircon was a huge bonus in the hot days. The private terrace was the plus point that made us book, it was lovely late in the day sitting there and watching everyone walking and cycling the wall.

Sadly the sink in the shower/wc took forever to drain so we had to make do with washing and brushing teeth etc in the kitchen sink. We were warned about the stairs to the apartment and no lift. But be very careful once in the apartment, many head height issues with more steps up into living kitchen space and also down into bedroom. One other thing, I wouldn’t cook in the kitchen. The vent above the induction hob looked chocked with years of dust so ate out every day instead.

Honestly the best terrace in Luka with views, on the top floor and the apartment itself is located on two levels, comfortable and clean, nothing to want more. Excellent location, few steps from the station and inside the walls of centro storico. Would definitely come back!

A few toiletries, shampoo, hard soap would be nice to have in the bathroom, there was only liquid soap.
