Cozy apartment with a view on the city walls

Exceptional location, next to the city walls for wonderful morning/evening walks and city location; minutes from the bus and train stations, very spacious, bright and well equipped kitchen. Also, comfortable bed and pillows. Stefania was a great host: warm, friendly, interesting and very helpful. It was lovely to be welcomed by a person and not “a key in a box”.

Number of steps to access the flat……but worth it when you get up! Also, we had difficulty avoiding the cooker- hood.

Great location within the old city walls. We lived the easy access to the city and nearby railway station. The apartment had plenty of character and was comfortable.

Air conditioning was inadequate given the extreme heat at the time we were there. This made sleeping challenging.

The living room is very spacious and light with good views. The bedroom is comfortable and quiet which is great for sleeping.

Location was amazing and our host Stefania was so helpful and always available for questions and was there to greet us on arrival.

Clean, comfortable and characterful space in a quiet and convenient location. Ideal for a business trip where you also need a place to work with good WiFi. The host was very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed upon arrival.

Great living space and wonderful views towards city walls and hills near Lucca. Wonderful location. We enjoyed relaxing in the apartment, even on rainy days.

It's always difficult to fit modern facilities into a medieval building. Kitchen cupboards could be improved, and lighting is not perfect, but otherwise, everything is provided.
