IN LUXOR Nile Apartments

The staff were very helpful. Islam, was so incredibly helpful and always went the extra mile. His hospitality comes from the heart, he genuinely wants to help out which became a bit of an issue whilst touring Egypt because we didn’t know who to trust. He offered to walk me ( a female) to the grocery shops on the Main Street because he didn’t want me to get harassed TWICE and even made sure I got Egyptian Prices. He was very profesional and respectful the entire time and showed authentic hospitality. He’s a good man. The location is very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It’s in the West Bank and we will definetley book this apartment again if we come back!

More kitchen utensils would have been nice to come with the apartment. However when I asked for some they were more then happy to help out.

The host Islam was the best and helped us with everything.The location is amazing and it’s ideal if you want to relax .The best place on the West Bank and the Nile view is amazing.

Nothing, it’s a soulless empty depressing prison apartment with blank walls and no proper kitchen, as it has NO cooker and nothing to cook with. Ground floor with no view miserable. Saying that the owner was very agreeable to cancel the booking and provide a full refund, so good he acknowledged my disappointment.

Great stay across the Nile! Whole building is clean, room is nice and clean too, rooftop is amazing and the guest house is surrounded by really nice homey restaurants. Right across there is a pier where you can take a boat across. The hosts were wonderful, caring and made amazing Egyptian breakfast :) We also did a felucca boat ride with them which was very nice.

Hot water was a bit difficult, it would sometimes fluctuate. In winter it is a bit cold at night so that might be uncomfortable, otherwise during the day/in summer I guess it’s not s problem.

The apartment’s location along the Nil River is excellent.

However, there are several drawbacks to consider: 1. The property is approximately 45 minutes away from the city, lacking convenient access to essential daily facilities such as hospitals, train stations, shopping centers, tourist shops, restaurants, and nightlife. 2. The staff’s conduct is disappointing, with a primary focus on extracting additional payments from guests in various situations. Even in medical emergencies, they prioritize money over guest well-being. Additional charges for external activities exceed the fair market prices. 3. The breakfast quality is subpar, and its cost is disproportionately high compared to nearby restaurants. 4. The apartment’s infrastructure leaves much to be desired, with issues ranging from malfunctioning water valves in the bathroom and shower to inadequately bright and defective lights at night. This property is not recommended for extended stays.

Islam is a great guy, so plus points; the view from second floor over the Nile is awesome! The location is ok, no noise during the night, a lot of space, huge balcony. Overall, very good option if want to avoid east bank(and yes, avoid it!)
