IN LUXOR Nile Apartments

The hotel accommodation at In Luxor Nile Apartments was absolutely splendid, spacy, on a unique spot with the Nile under your feet and magnificent Luxor temple view. Also the services were great - the management organised all the trips for us, kept all the promises, the drivers and guides were always at a proper time on an agreed spot, were very friendly and helpful. We can fully recommend Far & Beyond Travel and their facility In Luxor Nile Apartments and its services.

Unfortunately the planned ballon trip had to be repeatedly cancelled in two successive days by the organiser due to the windy conditions. But the prepayment was immediately refunded back.

The location was perfect on the West Bank. Beautiful spacious apartment, lovely balcony and rooftop. Everything we needed. Also our host Islam went above and beyond ensuring our stay was pleasant. He himself deserves 10/10. Thank you!

The staff, Abdo and Issam, were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food they prepared for us was copious and delicious, but we ate most of our meals at the fabulous Nubian House next door but one. The apartment was lovely, with great views of the Nile and the East Bank. The people on this side of the Nile are much more laid back and far less aggressive in their sales pitches. Less than 100m down the road, there is a great mini market that charges non tourist prices and stays open late. I walked down alone at 11.30pm and felt perfectly safe. When I got back, Issam was standing in the middle of the road watching for me. There is a quiet boat jetty just opposite the apartments, and the guys will call you a boat to cross over to the East Side. It costs pennies. All in all, we loved our stay on Luxor's West Bank and would definitely return if we were in Luxor

Kitchen ill equipt. Knives and forks, but no spoons. Stovetop but no pans. It was not a problem for us because we didn't want to cook, but for others it could be a problem.

Everything about it specifically the staffs, Abdulla and Islam. They were exceptional!

A kettle and coffee mugs would be nice

The location and view are nice, it's close to a supermarket and you're a bit farther from the most scammy parts of the town. The room is very big.

Hot water is provided by a small electric boiler. Don't even think of enjoying a bath, the boiler's capacity won't allow you to fill the tub even a bit. There's no shower curtain so there's going to be water everywhere. If you're traveling in the winter expect it to be very cold. They have an antique space heater but the property is too big for it to cope. They advertise the balcony view, but if you sit on their armchair the concrete balcony railing is right at face level. You'll get a great view of concrete. They are super skimpy on toilet paper. Just ask for tons of extra rolls when checking in. There is no water kettle in the rooms. They have one upstairs on the rooftop, but that rooftop kitchen is so crazy dirty that I would not recommend eating/drinking there.

I stayed on the top floor and the view of the Nile was lovely. Also the hotel staff were great.

There were several small things in the room that could use repair such as damaged shelves in the bathroom.
