Garden Nikko Guest House

Great for group of friends and families !

Very spacious with decent sized rooms, full amenities (including tea and coffee), toiletries, linens. Well appointed & included a good washing machine & dryer. Very quiet residential location near some lovely walks. Near a couple of big supermarkets (less than a 10 min walk) and just a few min to a 7-11 just down the road. Close to two mainline stations with great links into Nikko. The host was very helpful and very responsive to questions.

Would recommend a blind or blackout curtain in the kitchen to stop the morning light coming in. Wasn’t aware that the dryer had a charge to use it (not much but still there).

Calm place, near supermarkets, sweet small town-village feel. Apartment is spacious, kitchen quite well equipped, thus if you would like to prepare a bit of meal or eat at home it is fine as you will find everything you need. We slept on futons for the first time, not the most comfy way to sleep, but as first time experience it was nice to try. By the way, provided green tea was very delicious! :)

A bit far away from the stations. Thus best if you come by car or stay more days. As we had unfortunately only 1 night stay.
