Garden Nikko Guest House

The house has a lot of space, the staff is super friendly. It is perfect for a day trip to hike in Nikko and go to Kanazawa onsen

Only there was a weird smell in the house , but price-quality very nice :)

Staff was really nice and personable. Place is spacious for Japanese standards. Everything was clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

Can't think of any negatives.

This apartment is lovely , so clean and everything you could possibly want for your stay , kitchen has all you need if you want to cook and there are plenty of places to eat nearby! The host is so friendly and helped us choose somewhere dinner ( he has a great list showing what type of cuisine and location from the accommodation) highly recommended 😀

Location

The place is not big but got everything we needed, incl washing machine and dryer. Akihito San was most helpful with extra travel info and even dropped us a scale to weigh our luggages when requested. Overall very comfortable stay for a driving holiday.

Kitchen safety switch tripped when too many appliances are on at once. Can easily flip back manually above bathroom basin though. Bench space can be improved by removing all clutters above the rubbish trays table.

The apartment had everything we needed for our trip around Nikko, it was very comfortable, clean, and quite spacious! It was our first time sleeping on futon beds and we found them very comfortable. The host was really nice and gave us clear instructions. We also asked him some questions about touristic sights before our stay and he was super helpful.
