Kitchen light needed to be repaired

Moldy washing machine, no lights in fridge, advertised bunk bed but not there. Linen was not clean. Everything is old and not really suitable for booking .com.

COCKROACHES everywhere,,,German cokroaches that spread disease.

This review is for Mystic blue. The proprietor/owner changed our location because work was being completed at grey pebbles. We shortened our stay from 5 nights to 3 as there was not much to like unfortunately.

The property is not in the best part of Nowra. It turned out to be a dirty, cockroach ridden health hazard inside. When you enter it appears modestly furnished. When you open the kitchen cupboards and the oven door you are greeted with filth, dead insects and cockroach droppings and a stale, greasy smell. All the pots, pans and crockery are dirty. The saucepans unusable as the heat wouldn't conduct on the electric hob due to the black grime underneath. Under the sink was a mouldy sponge and the t towel and towels smelt of unwashed damp. We bought our own utensils to use. There were insects and cockroaches in every room and on the furniture. We used a whole can of insect repellent in 3 days. We had seen previous reviews and the owner Michele's rude, dismissive replies to them so felt it wasn't worth informing her until we left. We had to find somewhere else to stay as we felt it was a health hazard and may make us ill. Michelle states that all complaints should be within 4 hours of arrival and that was unrealistic. We informed Michelle we were leaving early and why. her reply was that there was nothing wrong with the property, her cleaner had told her about the cockroaches and she had arranged pest control for the next week. We sent her photos of the filth and dead insects and she kept saying she didn't receive the photos and to email them to her. Her reply was there was not enough evidence to substantiate our claim or give a refund, No apology given. We felt so disgusted that we reported the matter to Shoalhaven council and environmental office.

All kind of kitchen appliances were available. Kitchen was very good neat and clean. Other things are also clean.

Bed was ok but blanket was not clean enough. Pet furs were there from previous guest. Toilet was clean but no toilet paper holder, no toiletries were there. I think according to the money I paid, I deserved the toiletries. Sofa blanket need to be more clean. It was bit smelly.
