La Casa di Giulia-Family Apartment

We loved the location and the space - it was so big for our family of 5!!! When I asked the kids their favourite place we stayed in Italy it was this apartment. They also really appreciated the elevator!

Maybe proximity to train station - we made our three kids walk it and it was hot (3 kids with luggage for 5) but we also could have fixed this and taken a taxi

Some light globes missing, toilets seats loose, lounge chair broken and a black mark on ceiling- needed a few bits of maintenance. Location was quite noisy but expected in a city location

The location was very good. Located in the heart of Parma. The host was responsive when we contacted him. The apartment was very roomy. We were located on the 3rd floor and there was an elevator which was convenient. The apartment had character. Having a wash machine and dryer was very convenient.

After traveling over 24 hours from the USA the first thing we wanted to do was wash some clothes which we did. When we went to use the dryer it was filled with damp towels. We had to put the towels in the dryer to dry. This took a heart deal of time because the dryer kept stopping after 4-5 minutes. This delayed us from drying our clothes and kept us getting out into the city. We contacted the host about the dryer issue and he told us that we need to empty a tray in the dryer that collected excess water. We did not know this because no one met us at the apartment and we never had a dryer with such a tray. The apartment could be quit noisy at night and ear plugs are needed. The toilet seat is loose and would slide around when sitting on it (this was noted in previous reviews). The couch and 2 chairs in the living area is in very bad shape. No screens on the windows and windows did a poor job of dampening the noise from the plaza below. There are sky lights but the shades to cover them at night/mornings did not work in the bedrooms.

The location was perfect. The appartment is so nice and cozy, and perfect for my sister, my daughters and my nephew and me.

The accomodation was amazing. It was very, very spacious. A full apartment ~ 1500 sq ft. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen, huge living room. Location was in the center of the city. Elevator in building. Great café below the unit... Lived it. Would rate 5 stars.

The room was on top floor under the roof so windows were at floor level therefore no view.
