This is a beautiful shepherd's hut - lovely decoration, very comfortable, good facilities, gorgeous garden & peaceful surroundings. Walking distance to Bankfoot but also near Birnam, Dunkeld as well as the A9 for heading further. A warm welcome & great chat with the owner who was an excellent host.

It was perfect, I was just sad I couldn't stay longer.

I love how cosy it was and all the thoughtful little touches. There was a hamper for our dog including treats, bowls, dog towel and poo bags. A fully stocked kitchen with all the pans, utensils, Tupperware, condiments you could need. It was a perfect retreat space for me, my daughter and our dog. My daughter especially loved the summer house and made this her chill out area, which was very thoughtfully stocked with DVD’s for her by Wendy.

Nothing it was perfect for our needs

Secure garden area for pet to roam. Good selection of edibles in a welcoming basket including coffee and uht milk. Also a dog welcoming basket. Close to villages. Overall the hut and outdoor seating areas were very clean.

Space in the Shepherd’s Hut is somewhat limited, but manageable, when taking your pet. I’d imagine it would be difficult with a big dog or more than one dog.

A quirky treat in beautiful quiet location. Great for birdwatching, and there was lots of other wildlife in the fields behind. Sitting on the patio in the sunshine, with a barbecue, was perfect. Would probably have been less fun in the rain, however, as the cabin itself is pretty small.

For me, a tall bloke, the bed was rather cramped. Also, it was good that we were travelling light as there is limited storage space.

This wee place was very private and away from everything and everyone . We had the music on the BBQ cracking and the drink flowing was a great wee break . Thanks Wendy )))

Secluded, quiet, the little summer house is a nice place to sit with some music and relax.
