Historical Porto Apartment

Great location and great view.

Bread crumbs from the previous guest on the coach, in the oven. The shower is almost falling apart. The entire apartment unfortunately just feels a bit neglected and although it’s a great location that’s the only benefit of it.

Squeaky floors and bed, bedrooms are into a busy pedestrian street and all night noise disturbs even deepest sleeping

Location is good for solo travellers or couples. Not for kids.

Noisy inside ( squeaky floor and beds ) and outside ( all the noises from outside and neighbours upstairs). Genuinely dangerous, every lamp hanging on two electrical leads, boiler hanging on two top bolts and crushing the wall it's hanging on. Furniture is stained and unstable. Cracked toilet lid, blocked shower tray and water leak in bathroom sealing.

Location was excellent for historical centre & walking on top level of the bridge

There was no folder with basic information. The electricity failed & we had no way to know what was wrong or what to do. Everything is done by WhatsApp which is ok if your phone is working. The cleaner could be more thorough - evidence of previous guests. As with all of Porto, you have to be fit to climb up & down 2 flights of stairs especially at end of day

The location, the cleanliness and staff

A lot of the noise from outside gets into the apartment and in the night it’s pretty loudly.

The location was good

The bathroom need to be cleaned. Mold growing inside the shower. Mentions and showed them the issue. The shower did not drain fast enough and the base would be ready to overflow Both balcony’s had wood chair that were broken and could not be used.

Location is fantastic, close to the center. Not exactly on a busy street, so at least you cannot hear the noise from the traffic, which is good. You can still hear people pass by in the street, as the insulation is non-existent, so I would advise ear plugs (luckily we had them).

To be honest for the price paid I was expecting nothing luxurious, but at least a tiny bit more quality. The windows in my room were both broken, there were two tree branches to keep them open, not kidding. One of them even had a glass cracked, which I don't think is very safe. The toilet seat was of extremely poor quality, the kind that if you sit on it, it slides left at right. The shower handle immediately came off, and some of the nozzles of the shower weren't even there in the first place. We arrived on Friday evening, when we woke un on Saturday the Wi-fi wasn't working anymore, and I only got a response from the manager later in the afternoon - but I needed it in the morning to work so I had to go to a cafe. They did fix it later in the day, but it was too late for my needs, considering it was included in the stay I paid for.

The location is perfect to explore the laneways and landmarks of Porto and the old city. The view from the balcony was stunning. Francisco was fabulous and gave us great tips of places to explore. We spent a wonderful few days here. Highly recommend

Fabulous location in the old town. Characterful traditional building on a quaint street. Some Lovely original features. Room for 5/6 people

Needed a little maintenance, the kettle didn’t work, light fittings hanging off. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Toilet seat was dangerous!!
