Für Leute, die gut zu Fuss sind ist die Lage ideal. Der ÖPNV ist zwar binnen 5min erreichbar, da man aber im Innenstadtbereich nicht mit Pünktlichkeit rechnen darf, muss man Extrazeit einplanen.

Ich formuliere es positiv. Die Unterkunft ist für junge Leute, die ein keinen Luxus erwarten okay. Die Zimmer und Ausstattung sind alt und muffig. Es ist durch die Lage sehr laut, der Strassenlärm erlaubt kaum ein offenes Fenster nachts.

Beliggenheden var fin. Godt område.

We had an amazing stay at this property - one of the most comfortable and best value properties I have ever stayed in. The location is less than 10 minute walk into the centre in a lovely neighbourhood with nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The apartment is beautiful and it completely matches the photos online. The bedding is some of the best I have experienced in any airbnb or hotel and it was a very comfortable stay. The bathrooms came with hotel-like toiletries, exceeding my expectations for an airbnb. There was a complimentary bottle of port, and espresso machine with pods, a well stocked kitchen as well as washing facilities including 4 washing machine pods for a week stay. We paid £123 per night in August during peak season for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. At £30 pp, that has to be one of the most affordable stays in the city and it represented fantastic value for this lovely apartment. While there is no air conditioning, there are two highly powerful fans so we never felt uncomfortable during our stay in the high temperatures of summer. The standout feature of this airbnb were the amazing staff - they could not do enough for us. They let us check in early after arriving on a 6am flight, they arranged cleaning for us and messaged us throughout our stay to ask if there was anything we needed. A special thanks has to go to Nia, who was always quick to reply back to us on WhatsApp at anytime and a pleasure to liase with. On one evening I messaged to ask if we could get a refill of shower gel and she offered to come to us for 9am so it wouldn’t make us late for any plans we had. She also delivered the shower gel with fresh orange juice and delicious croissants which was a truly special touch, going above and beyond. My friends and I remote worked from the airbnb and found the wifi to be excellent and faultless.

One thing to note is the company offer some helpful tours and advice. The Duoro Valley tour they recommend was sold out for the next month so if you are interested to do it perhaps ask the host when you book your stay for their recommendation. As an alternative, I did mine with efun tours who were great.

Within walking distance of the historic city center. A large, spacious apartment with its own unique style.

Part of the apartment is actually a section of the stairwell enclosed by a glass structure. It’s an interesting and unusual design, but in practice, only glass separates you from the building's shared stairwell. We were lucky that no one was staying on the floor below during our visit — otherwise, we would have heard each other clearly. There’s no air conditioning. Fortunately, the weather was cool during our stay. The TV is old and not a smart TV, so there are no streaming apps available.

A very comfortable setting. Very clean & nicely appointed. Good location.

The hairdryer needs to be replaced, as it did not really work. It had a strange sound & would shut off after a few minutes. It would take a while before it could be turned again. My daughter thought it was useless.

Nice and spacious appartment. Good and quick communication with very friendly hosts.

The street is a bit noisy but at night quiet.
