The kindness, helpfulness and responsiveness of the staff. The apartment was well equiped. Location is great too.

Phonic insulation is not the best.

First off cannot say enough about the communication from the hosts for all our needs. They were extremely responsive with all the check-in information, and daily help when needed. The apartment itself is located in a nice location with easy walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, and other attractions. Very comfortable beds and nice bedding too so we had great sleeps. Would definitely recommend staying here for your trip to Porto.

Not really what we didn't like, but just to be aware as this is an older and traditional Portuguese home you can hear the noise from the upstairs guests, and from the neighboring homes. Not really a big deal but just something to not be surprised upon arrival.

It was a bit noisy. You can hear all the cars, busses and people.passomg by.

The apt was clean and efficient and in a central location. The host answered messages relatively quickly.

Both bedrooms face onto a very noisy street. Very poor insultation in general. As a main street is deviated onto Rua de Briener at a point where a pedestrian street begins, there is a LOT of traffic, buses and noise. Due to poor insulation, one hears every little conversation of passerbys on the street, including those speaking in normal voice tones. Although the beds were comfortable, it was so noisy that it was difficult to enjoy them. We also heard lots of noises from upstairs neighbours, who were not excessive, its just that it appears the rennovation was done with very poor insulation. Where I live in France, they generally put the bedrooms more on the quieter back side of the building and the public areas like the living room and kitchen towards the noisier steet facing part. Here it was the reverse. The host messaged me as we left to specifically ask us for a maximum evaluation rating, This seems somewhat manipulative to me and I prefer to be honest, whether for the positive or negative. It would have been nice to meet the host if only for a few minutes. All very "efficient" with lockbox set up and my guess is that they use lockbox 99% of the time, so "efficient" yet much less charming than other Air BnB type places I have stayed in.
