ORM- Fontainhas 01 & 02 Apartments

Great little apartment for exploring all of Porto. Location was a close walk to everything in a quiet neighbourhood. Apartment had full kitchen, ac, combined kitchen/lounge/ dinning downstairs, and bedroom/bathroom upstairs. Easy check in/out. Only €6-8 for taxi from bus station.

Needed some utensils to be able to use oven (oven trays).

We were really lucky to find this place almost in the heart of Porto! All the main sights are just a short walk away, and there’s a big grocery store only 5 minutes from the apartment. The place looks just like the photos – clean, quiet, and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay!

It was the worst check in ever. There is a hint how to open keybox, but we were not informed. It took almost hour and a half when somebody finally picked up the phone. It was 9pm. We were very close of booking different accomodation. Poor customer service with alibistic answer that they send the video how to open the box via whatsup. Since I don’t have whatsup, they didn’t bother to send it another way. For check out, they can send pics how to place the key. It was very stressful situation for us, especially for my pregnant wife.

All perfect, nice and clean. The position is also very good to walk the center.

Absolutely amazing stay start to finish! Clear instructions sent via WhatsApp on how to check in, once in the apartment was very clean and fresh. Decorated so modern but boho, beautiful! The bathroom was clean and perfect size, the bedroom and living room both fitted with aircon for the summer months. Bathroom had shampoo/ shower gel too. Bed was a harder mattress but slept like a dream. The location of this property is what really stood out to us, only a short 12 minute walk to the top of the infamous bridge, and only 10 minutes into the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The apartment is located in a small residential area that has some small streets off limit to cars (very quiet at night which was perfect). When we arrived via bolt (highly recommend very cheap to get around when you don’t want to walk) we couldn’t find the apartment at first but 2 sets of lovely neighbours helped us to the door which was amazing, so kind. Would recommend staying here in a heartbeat, the most perfect location for a city break.
