Amazing Penthouse Apartment in historic Porto

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cet appartement La situation est idéale pour visiter Porto à pied. L'appartement est très propre, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner. La petite terrasse est agréable pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Claudio est très attentif et répond très vite à nos messages. Vraiment c'est un endroit très agréable au calme qui permet de se ressourcer après une bonne journée de visites et de foule.

Tout était parfait mais étions contents d'avoir 2 possibilités d'accès à l'appartement. La ruelle étant moins agréable.

Everything was clean and comfortable! Air conditioning worked like a charm! Great style, no IKEA furniture!

Only negative is the approach through a very stinky and questionable tunnel/street with drug addicts hanging about right outside the door to this apartment. Quite scary/uncomfortable especially at night. But, of course, the owners of the property can't do much about this I assume.

Fantastic apartment. Very clean and tidy and spacious. Renovated and modern but retains traditional features. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We also appreciated the 2 terraces. One great for laundry and the other very good for dinners with the sunset. Hosts very available for all needs. I recommend following their instructions in case of arriving by taxi. We arrived by taxi but it is possible to arrive and park nearby with a private vehicle even though it is located in a central area. There are a few stairs to walk to reach the apartment but the view will be worth it

Beautiful, spacious apartment in the Middle of the city

As several other people have mentioned there are a number of drug users hanging around the tunnel next to the apartment, they didn’t cause us any problems but are a bit off putting

Very clean, exceptionally spacious and very well located to get to all the sights in the old town. The kitchen and laundry had all that we needed. The balconies were a great place to start the day and unwind after a day of touring. Our hosts also provided us with a very helpful electronic visitors guide.

The stairs with luggage - but we knew about them beforehand. Pack light!

The apartment is centrally located just a few minutes away from Sao Bento train & metro stations and the funicular. Hence it is a good base for discovering Porto. The cathedral and the stunning Igreja de Santa Clara - a perhaps lesser known must-see - are just around the corner. The apartment is superbly equipped, including a washing machine. There is a coffee machine and the capsules are provided as is tea. The apartment was super clean and the bed comfy. Communication with the owners, Elspeth & Claudio, by messages was efficient. They were flexible and allowed me early check-in and late checkout as the apartment was not immediately occupied that I very much appreciated. I would return with great pleasure.

Clean. Modern. Close to metro.

Steps. Steps. Steps. More steps. 6 flights of 75 spiral steps each way, from ground entrance to front door. No elevator. Add 21kg of luggage and very grueling entry and exit. Each Entry/Exit is greeted by urine smell and salty homeless people that use “ the tunnel “ for shelter. Definitely not for folks with acute mobility problems.

The property was beautiful, very clean and comfortable with amazing views!

The taxi couldn’t find the address as it was the wrong details on booking.com! We phoned the owners and they were a bit vague of where it was! Glad we didn’t arrive in the dark as a job to find!

Fabulous, comfortable, spacious, penthouse apartment. Superbly designed and tastefully decorated. Very well equipped kitchen and other facilities. Helpful and friendly hosts.

Unfortunately there is no lift in the building.
