Amazing Penthouse Apartment in historic Porto

It is beautifully designed . Spacious and tastefully furnished. Bright and great having 2 balconies!Spotlessly clean. So comfortable. Elspeth and Claudio are so welcoming and helpful.

Centrally located but on a quiet lane away from any traffic noise. Spacious, beautifully furnished, very clean and recently renovated, nice hardwood floors throughout, comfortable king size bed, two balconies, magnificent views from the windows and balconies, excellent light coming in from the windows throughout the apartment, kitchen is very nicely equipped, and the owners are very kind and friendly and responsive. The owners really have anticipated every possible need. We highly recommend this apartment!

We had a fantastic time in Porto, the apartment exceeded all our expectations and we loved staying here. The location is fantastic with amazing views over the city which is only a short walk to all attractions. The apartment has everything you could need and is so thoughtfully decorated. The communication with the owners was fantastic from the start and access to the property was easy with the instructions given. We would love to come back and definitely would recommend for a peaceful stay in Porto!

We preferred to use the laneway rather than the tunnel.

A gorgeous apartment situated in the heart of the city, with magnificent views of Porto. The apartment has everything you need to feel like home and is extremely clean. The access tunnel street from Rua do Cha is a bit rundown and smelly, so we recommend using the pedestrian access from Saraiva de Carvalho. Be aware that it is placed at the top floor (3rd) in an old typical Porto house, so you'll climb a lot of steps till reaching the apartment. We didn't mind at all, but for elderly people or families with small kids and buggies might be a problem. We had some issues with the access codes, but Elspeth is always available and it was solved within seconds. Definitely recommend it!

Wow, this truly is an amazing unit. The 4 flights up weren't a problem with carryon luggage (we're in our 70's; avid hikers). The apartment is beautifully appointed and was stocked with basics to start the day. We walked everywhere from this location. Glorious lunches out; picked up dinners from various restaurants and markets nearby and enjoyed evening meals with TV. Quiet at night with blackout shades in the bedroom (thank you!). Our 6-night stay was wonderful. No complaints whatsoever.

We loved our stay at Elspeth and Claudio's apartment. It was extremely clean, had wonderful views, comfortable beds and was very quiet! It was the perfect place to come back to after a full day of exploring Porto. Elspeth and Claudio were both wonderful at communicating, answering our questions and provided a really nice Porto welcome packet full of information for us. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Porto! (We traveled with our two children ages 7 & 9 and it had all the amenities we could want)

Central to attractions. Spacious with 2 sunny balconies. Next to new everything that was top quality and in excellent condition. SPOTLESS. VERY comfortable bedding. Effective shower. Thoughtful extras. QUIET. Helpful and friendly management.

It's a penthouse on the 4th floor, but there is no lift.
