Amazing Penthouse Apartment in historic Porto

This place is out of this world. So so so nicely decorated and furnished. Even towel is premium. The host is super friendly and will accommodate your need. Enjoy the balcony overseeing Porto skyline. Definitely a marvelous stay

It's safe to say our expectations were exceeded by this lovely apartment! Perfectly located in the centre of Porto, nicely appointed with lots of thoughtful touches and with excellent facilities - a very comfy bed, superb shower and a kitchen with everything you could ask for. The larger of the two balconies was perfect for alfresco breakfasts and sundowners in the evening with stunning sunsets thrown in. Elspeth and Claudio were obliging and helpful hosts, we appreciated their communications before and during our stay as well as the "guidebook" they've created, which was very useful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the bottle of port they had left as a welcoming gift!

It was a bit discomfiting to have a variety of drug-users huddled in the travessa at any given point of the day. We had no trouble from them at all - they either mumbled a greeting as we walked past or were too wrapped up in whatever they were doing to even look up - and the issue is easily avoided by turning right out of the front door of the building instead of left, but it's something to be aware of if you book this apartment.

it is centrally located. You have wonderful views of Porto from the apartment. There are two balconies and the weather was so pleasant that we were able to sit outside, even in February. On top of this, Cláudio and Elspeth are the nicest hosts!

The communication with Elspeth and Claudio was very good. They are very friendly and nice, through phone you can feel that they are very accomodating. Always checking if you need anything. And they provided very great recommendations about Porto. Check in went smooth. We loved the apartment very much. It was very comfortable and very clean. We had all the things that we needed. It has everything provided. Very complete. They provided water, milk, butter and a bottle of port upon arrival very nice welcome touch. The kitchen has everything we needed. The location is perfect, really close to everything. Sao Bento is a minute walk. Luis 1 bridge just 2 min walk. Just walking distance to all you wanted to see in Porto. Really in the center.

The appartement is opposite the SE cathedral near the beautiful train station and close to the funicular. You can reach the river in 5 minutes not quite that quick coming up! Location wise, it couldn't be better. Porto is hilly!!!! We got a 5 euro taxi back from the river which made life easier for us as my husband has a heart condition! Taxis are everywhere! The appartement is beautifully appointed, with a fab terrace and very comfy king size bed. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom lovely. Fluffy towels, miniature bathroom products, milk and water were provided and a fabulously bottle of port! What a welcome! The bedroom had aircon and excellent blinds for a peaceful sleep! Everything was wonderful!

We loved, loved, loved our stay in this beautiful apartment! The location: very central and easily reachable but quiet and offering the private spaces of the balconies to take a break from exploring. The smart and stylish interior of the apartment made our stay so very comfortable. The beds are great, as are the shower and the kitchen is well equipped too! Elspeth and Claudio are very thoughtful and attentive hosts, their Welcome Guide is truly helpful - make sure to book ahead if you plan to follow the restaurant recommendations!
