Amazing Penthouse Apartment in historic Porto

A beautiful and comfortable, well equipped space. Everything you need is there. Plenty of supplies, tea, coffee capsules, oil, washing powder, etc. Very quiet. Balcony great for breakfast or evening drink. Remote entry with great communication with the owners.

There are a lot of stairs so you have to be able for them.....and the hills of Porto. I would definitely stay here again, it is an oasis in the busy city.

We absolutely enjoyed the apartment and the good communication with the hosts. The hosts were very accommodating and made it possible for us to check in early in the morning. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, spotless clean and contributed positively to our wonderful stay in Porto.

Only minor issue to mention is the frequent drug dealing and drug taking in the alleyway which is the only access to the property.

Beautiful property and the couple was very helpful when we arrived to guide us to the apartment. A bit hard to find but they were right there when we arrived!

Sadly, through no fault of the hosts, the area leading up to the main entrance has become a haven for drug users. The Police see this as a minor crime and do little to stop them. Fortunately they leave you alone. But it is a bit unnerving when you are walking through the alley at night and they are congregating.

it was well equiped has everyting you needed. very nicley furnished we could have easlly stayed longer. very spacious and they very great hosts and very helpfull. i highly reccommend this spot

The location was in the heart of Porto. We could walk/take the metro, or train within 350 m radius from us. It was close to all the historic highlights of Porto. . The 2 balconies are wonderful to enjoy a glass of wine and a cool breeze in the evening. You must be prepared to climb a lot of stairs, but we knew that, so this was perfect for us. The hosts were very caring and concerned.

The alley around the corner from the apartment, where a lot of 'dealings' were going on and I felt uneasy to walk there at night. During the day it was fine.
