There are temporarily works on a construction by the apartment. But That has nothing to do with the hosts. Probably there is a potential to change the third bed to be a bit comfortable for big guys like me 😇

The location is very convenient and being across from Time Out Market made it extremely easy to find good food at any time. The apartment itself was comfortable and communication with the host was smooth.

One thing future guests may want to consider is that being very close to Time Out Market also meant there was nighttime music during our stay. On one night it continued until around midnight, with noticeable bass indoors, which affected our sleep. To be fair, I did not see other reviews mentioning this issue before booking, so it may have been timing or event related rather than a constant problem. I also do not think there was much the host could realistically do apart from reporting the issue to the city. Just something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to nighttime noise or prefer a quieter stay.

The location cleanliness and communication with host

As previously mentioned could be a little noisy I invested in a pair of earplugs !

Location.

It’s much smaller than the photos make it seem and the smell inside is bad. Super musty and moldy smell or like cat pee.

Sehr zentrale Lage, quasi direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof Sao Bento. Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll, neu und sauber. Direkt gegenüber ist eine Essens Location mit viel Auswahl. Zur Promenade am Douro sind es nur ca. 10-15 min zu Fuß, einige Höhenmeter sind dabei zu überwinden. Uns hat es insgesamt sehr gut gefallen

Aufgrund der zentralen Lage ist es draussen sehr lebhaft (gegenüber ist eine Essens Location).. Da die Fenster nicht gut abdichten, hört man dies entsprechend vorne im Essbereich und ein wenig auch im hinteren Schlafzimmer. Uns hat das nicht wirklich gestört....
