The location was in walking distance to everything. The facilities had everything you need

The bed was broken and the property refused to provide a refund. They did come and fix the slat late on the second night (although only after I complained to booking.com) but refused to acknowledge that the mattress was impacted from the broken wood. There is also a club right out the front of the windows and the room isn’t noise cancelling so I wouldn’t recommend on a Friday or Saturday night. The street was noisy with people playing music from their cars at 1:30am

El apartamento está excelentemente ubicado, a 3 minutos andando de la calles principales y a 5 minutos de la estación de bus y de tren. Tambien el bus 22 del aeropuerto te deja justo al lado( parada 13 janviera iela). Se trata de un número de apartamentos ubicados en varios bloques que dan a un patio central, algunos dan a la calle y puede haber ruido a partir del jueves que abren una dico justo enfrente y otros dan al patio interior (pedimos uno de estos y no hubo ruido alguno) El apartamento es amplio y bien equipado. Sin duda, volveria a alojarme aquí.

Nunca vimos a nadie en la recepción pero no fué grave porque no nos hizo falta nada.

Don’t be fooled by the reviews and pictures. Good things first cause there not many: 1. Location - close to the train/bus station and old town makes it easy 2. That’s it! Bad things second cause there are a lot: 1. We got an email after we booked saying the entry instructions will be sent 24 hours before. Guess what? We didn’t get any 2. We reached the place around 9pm (bad weather with heavy rain), and we had no idea how to get in the building - there are no signs that says “Old Riga Residence”. 3. Tried to contact the numbers provided in the email - no one picked up after calling multiple times 4. We had to call booking.com and they tried to contact them as well - but didn’t get through 5. Finally, after waiting for 1h15m outside in the rain, we got a message with the entry instructions - again extremely confusing making us go to a different building. 6. Now the apartment itself - not clean, beds are really old and smelled bad, not enough soap, shampoo or toilet papers, and there is no way to get a response from them. 7. The chairs in the room were broken and sink in the toilet had no way of regulating the temperature as it was broken as well. 8. Lastly, if you get the apartment facing the street - there is loud music from a nightclub right across - thankfully, the unit we received was not facing the street. Overall, if you want a peaceful stay in Riga, stay away from this place! Hope this helps.

Great location at the quiet end of the street. The gated courtyard adds extra security (though Riga feels super safe anyway). Self check-in was smooth. The apartment had everything—dishes, towels, toiletries. View was of the street.

Customer service was really disappointing—they only spoke Latvian or Russian, and the host didn’t send check-in instructions on time. We were told they had been sent days earlier, but they only arrived after our second call. The apartment was way too small for four people; we were constantly bumping into each other. There were signs of previous damage, including what looked like a burn mark on the couch, a broken bathroom tile, and punch marks in the elevator. At one point, cold water stopped working in the bathroom. We definitely won’t be booking with this host again.

Lovely apartment in a great location in the old town with everything i needed inside. Even little details like salt and pepper go a long way for when I cooked. Great shower and very warm from the freezing temperatures outside.

It's directly across from the nightclub Valhalla, which stays open until 6 am, and the soundproofing is very poor. From Thursday to Sunday, there were a lot of wake-up calls. Could have done with better pillows.
