Feel like an Emperor Apartments

Clean, cool and excellent location!

Location was very handy for all amenities and sights, 5 mins and you are on he harbor, plenty of places to eat and drink

The convenience and coolness of being inside the walls of the palace was amazing. The manager was a great communicator, and the apartment was very clean.

The apartment is small with minimal outdoor light and a sketchy, narrow 2 floors of staircase to climb. The bed and apartment are modern and comfortable, but 4 pillows instead of two would be great.

Ideal location in Old Town Split! Clean and spacious with wonderfully helpful staff.

It was v nice property but we were not aware of the fact that it was on third floor

We paid 360 euros per night but still there was not good hot water to shower and when contacted to the owner she replied they have a v boiler

Loved it’s location and proximity to everything.

We did not like that it was not properly lit. Very dark area by the door. And stair well. Lights went off too soon as you walk down the steps. Person above us was up all night walking around heavy feet.

The location is great. The apartment is remodeled and very clean. The hosts are nice people, but not the most competent organizers (see below).

We’ve been in various parts of Croatia for over two weeks, so we have plenty of experience with this type of accommodation. Overall, the quality of apartments and hosts in Croatia is pretty high, so although this was not really a bad experience, it was the worst we had in Croatia. Below are some details: - The check-in process: every place we have stayed in sent us detailed instructions for a super smooth arrival and automatic check-in process (either keyless entry, or lockbox, etc.) at least 24h prior to the trip. I had to email the host here multiple times and finally I received some instructions at 11:00 am on the arrival day. I was told to go to a restaurant and ask for the key. Upon arrival, an angry waitress shouted at me that someone else had already picked up the key and that this was not her job. Confused, I texted the host. No answer. I had to call (do not assume that international travelers can just call you!). Finally someone showed up with one set of keys. This could —and should— have been much easier. -Parking: one reason I chose this property was that it was one of the few properties in that neighborhood that showed up as having parking after applying the booking.com parking filter. Not only does this property not have parking, it does not have easy street parking access as claimed. It’s a very crowded neighborhood with steep streets and limited parking space, so every time we used our car, we had to drive around for 20-30 min to maybe get lucky and take the spot of someone who just left. This is not the definition of a property with free parking. This was a determining factor for us, so this misrepresentation was irritating. - The room: the room was very clean, but very small and despite the pictures, somewhat tomb-like. It’s a perfectly fine room for sleeping, but not for anything else. The pictures that give the impression of a large sunny space are also misleading. In short, we’ve had better experience in Croatia for this price.

We had a great stay here. The apartment was lovely and in a fantastic location.
