Fantastic location and nice historic ambience. I really liked that there was well working espresso machine with capsules ready to make some brew. Bedsheets were very good quality and clean and without annoying odour. I am allergic to washing scents so I was very happy about it.

Just few small things that would make this apartment very good: throw away the chair with worn and torn seat cover; fix the missing sink stopper(functionally it doesn't matter but gives bad impression); replace the frying pan that has deteriorated teflon and add a smaller pot for cooking smaller quantities. Also we were really missing a toaster.

The host is very helpful and communicative. The flat is very spacious and clean. Even though the location is very central, the area is very quite. Great for family trips.

The inability to regulate the room temperature. However, it is not the fault of the host. Bad water pressure in the bathtub.

Spacious apartment and very well placed in the old town of Riga. It's on the 3rd floor, but that was fine with us.

The bedrooms are facing the street, so it can be noisy if you have them open. It was quite hot in the apartment, so we had to have them open during the nights. We didn't see any thermostats to lower the heat.

Good location and spacious living area.

The beds were very uncomfortable.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this apartment, despite one hiccup that resulted in a fine. To simplify, I listed pros and cons below. PROS: - Location is truly amazing. The apartment is situated in the heart of oldtown and within minutes of walking to all major attractions. There is also a mall with a supermarket nearby. - It is very spacious. You can easily fit 5-6 people, though plumbing is kind of old with a small boiler. So just got to plan ahead. - Kitchen with a full size fridge, stovetop, and a microwave. If you decide to cook, that should not be a problem.

CONS: - Payment issue. Booking page lists multiple payments options and all major credit cards accepted. However, once I made the reservation, the owner informed me that only cash will be accepted. - Parking. This property is filtered to show they offer parking, which was the main reason I booked it. They do NOT have parking. I was told to park anywhere near the tram lines, which I did, and got a ticket next morning. Of course, as a first-time visitor who does not speak Latvian, I didn’t know the area I parked in was for the prosecutor’s office. After receiving the fine and figuring things out, it was much easier to navigate.
