"Pleasant"

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this apartment, despite one hiccup that resulted in a fine. To simplify, I listed pros and cons below. PROS: - Location is truly amazing. The apartment is situated in the heart of oldtown and within minutes of walking to all major attractions. There is also a mall with a supermarket nearby. - It is very spacious. You can easily fit 5-6 people, though plumbing is kind of old with a small boiler. So just got to plan ahead. - Kitchen with a full size fridge, stovetop, and a microwave. If you decide to cook, that should not be a problem.

CONS: - Payment issue. Booking page lists multiple payments options and all major credit cards accepted. However, once I made the reservation, the owner informed me that only cash will be accepted. - Parking. This property is filtered to show they offer parking, which was the main reason I booked it. They do NOT have parking. I was told to park anywhere near the tram lines, which I did, and got a ticket next morning. Of course, as a first-time visitor who does not speak Latvian, I didn’t know the area I parked in was for the prosecutor’s office. After receiving the fine and figuring things out, it was much easier to navigate.

"Great location"

Perfect location, quiet place. Clean.

Very basic set up- no cooking oil, salt, sugar etc , only 1,5 rolls of loo paper left on family with young kids. So be ready to purchase lots of little top up things. Other than that, all good.

"Overall a great stay."

The location is brilliant and the host were really easy to contact and responded quickly. The apartment is really spacious too.

The shower pressure wasn’t great, but it was manageable and we were informed a few days before arrival.
