Quite center of Riga

Location is very good. Quiet. Clean.

Fridge wasn't working and the host told that only few hours before arrival, thank God it's winter, so we kept our food in car. Also heaters in bathroom wasn't working, host told us that we can't turn those on, otherwise it will knock out the corks. Apperantly there is some kind of tourist tax in Rīga, also that the host told us few hours before arrival and wanted that money in cash.

The apartment needs some repair-door handles from the apartment door as well as the bathroom door fell out. I also experienced bedbugs.

Cosy apartment for a basic stay

Communication from owner is non existant , and basic necessities where ignored when we asked for additional toilet rolls. Area can be unpleasant at night , several flights of stairs untill you arrive to apartmrnt. Shower needs modernization and no tv set.

It is like studio flat, I was expecting room only. Comfortable sofa and good location.

Smell from toilet. Very loud noise from refrigerator and other equipment. Power cut on last day, very disappointing as it was early morning and still dark outside, it has been very difficult to pack and get ready for check out. Also messaged owner to notify about it, but never received an apology. Disappointed ☹️

The room exceeded my most optimistic expectations. The property is in 10 minutes' walk from the train station, 15-20 minutes' walk from the coach station and the Old Town. A spacious room with a high ceiling, wardrobe and a chest of drawers; amply equipped kitchen, always hot water in the shower. Windows on the sunny side of the building, quiet neighbourhood.

It could hardly be better, for that price.

Central position

The apartment has a kitchen but it doesn't have a lot of appliances or anything, the washing machine wasn't working and some floor boards in the kitchen were missing. The bathroom isn't very big and quite old, could use some renovations. One night when we got back we saw someone entered the apartment, after we asked the owner what happened they said it was to fix a water or plumbing issue so we understood, but a warning would still have been appreciated. The window blinds are subtle so it wasn't completely dark in the evening/morning.

Quiet neighborhood. Bed was okay.

Very very dirty. We had to clean pee and poo from the WC as well as hair and dirtiness from the sink and the shower, to the point we were absolutely disgusted. We had to sweep the floor and better not to look inside the oven. So far the dirtiest place I have ever been in. The neighbourhood is quiet but very decadent, get used to see people looking for food in the thrash containers. Half of the furniture is broken and pillows are like papers.
