Proximity to hiking; spacious suite, plenty of storage

We did not realize that it was part of the much larger Rainer family resort. This is a great place for families with children 1 to 8 years old - many amenities cater to young parents . We expected a more adult experience and quiet. Also the road facing our balcony was quite busy.

The property is connected to the Family Rainer resort which has exceptional facilities such as a spa, sauna, pool, hot/cold plunge and hot tub. It was great to be able to use these facilities as part of the stay. The views are also very nice and the balcony faced the mountains which provided a lovely view to wake up to. The room was equip with basic cooking utensils to make a quick meal.

There was no AC or fans and the upper floor gets hot at night. There’s also lots of bugs that will come in if you open the skylight

We really enjoyed our stay at Paramount Alma Suites Sexten. The place is beautiful, with a wonderful mountain view directly from our room. A very pleasant surprise was the wellness area - there were more swimming pools than we expected before arriving, including a very warm outdoor pool and a separate kids’ pool. Everything was well designed and comfortable, and the water temperature made it especially enjoyable even in cooler weather. The indoor pool area was also very nice, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere that helped us warm up quickly after being outside. The rooftop jacuzzi was another highlight, offering great views, although there was some construction nearby during the day and a crane slightly affected the mountain view from that spot. However, this was minor and didn’t impact the overall experience, especially since the main pool areas still had beautiful views. Another convenient detail is that the apartments are connected to the hotel area via a tunnel, so you can move between them easily without going outside - very comfortable, especially in bad weather. A lovely surprise was the complimentary ice cream for children. We didn’t manage to use it during opening hours, but at checkout the staff were very kind and still arranged it for us. It was a really nice gesture. One small note is that from the main photos you might expect a more isolated mountain setting, but in reality the property is located in the village near the main street. Still, this did not reduce the overall positive impression. We would definitely stay here again and can warmly recommend it to others.
