Apartment Splendid Marjan

Lovely location and host. Our messenges were answered in a few minutes and the host familiy helped us with organizing a taxi from and to the airport. The kitchen is nice stuffed with snacks and juices. We had a warm welcoming and even our towels were changed in the middle of the week.

This apartment was perfect for our stay here, the location was all that we could ask for, about a 10 minute walk to the main area. Beaches were also not a long walk away. The view was to die for, exactly how it is pictured in the booking. We were greeted by our host and given a map with all of the main things to do and see, as well as directions. She also met us upon departure to say goodbye. Would rent again.

Perfect location with breathtaking views from terrace.Apartment so well equipped and comfortable .The owner Elena was so kind showing us a map of Split and the best areas to eat and places to visit .We really appreciated the fruit , wine and complimentary snacks left for us by the host too!

We loved everything. Our host ensured our transfer from the airport was seamless as was our transfer to the port for our ferry. The outside space of the apartment is magnificent and the views spectacular. Inside you have everything you need and it is beautiful, clean light and airy. Elena (our hosts Mum and greeter) was so very generous with her time and information on check in. If you book take the time to sit with her and listen. It’s well worth it. The little touches like cold drinks in the fridge and snacks were all there. To me they make of the difference after travel. The location is perfect as it’s close to Old Town and the Park. There are good restaurants, a bakery and markets close by. I highly recommend this apartment. If I returned to Split I would not think of booking anywhere else. I wont put this in “didn’t like” as it’s not the case for us but if you have mobility issues be aware the best way into old town and the port includes stairs.

Location excellent. The balcony was great with a great view. Nice introduction upon arrival and the snacks, wine and juice on arrival was a really nice touch.

We stayed 4 days, it would have been nice to have an extra set of towels for the bathroom.

Excellent location with lovely view of the harbour. Large outside terrace. Host was very good gave us lots of information and a map. Very good communication and helpful apartment host.

The host greeted us and gave helpful recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. She lives next door and was absolutely lovely. The hillside view from the terrace is exceptional - that is where we spent most of our time. The fact there is a dedicated parking spot for the apartment is a major bonus, especially for Split.

Well, my wife and I are used to a king-size bed at home so the double-sized one at the apartment was a little small for us.

It was a beautiful apartment, peaceful and quiet with stunning views. Very nicely furnished and had everything we needed and more. Elena was very helpful giving us lots of ideas of where to go and gave us grapes from her garden and a bottle of wine. I would highly recommend staying here

Well situated , walking distance to old town and restaurants. Had parking and beautiful view from terrace.

The apartment is bright and airy, with good facilities and stunning views. The bed is really comfortable, plenty of storage space, the kitchen is well equipped. The owner was extremely welcoming and provided lots of information on the local area, also leaving us a few items when we arrived such as water, snacks and juice, which was really welcomed after the steep climb to the apartment pulling our cases. The apartment is in a quaint, quieter side of Split, which was also welcomed after a busy day sight seeing, with the crowds in the more touristy areas. The apartment is on a hillside (we booked this for the stunning views and we were not disappointed especially at sunrise and sunset!) but it wouldn’t be suitable for individuals with mobility problems.

We loved the apartment, but If I was being really picky the sofa could be more comfortable. It was hard to relax after a busy day out and about, but the comfortable bed made up for this!
