EM Apartment

Very nice apartment. Comfortable with a fantastic terrace on the back. We loved it Definitely recommended

The space is modern and clean. Liked that it has two bathrooms and the location is good (although you do have to climb up a big hill to get to the main part of the city).

Check in was difficult. The host told us that we couldn’t check in until 5.30pm and it would be impossible for us to drop off the suitcases earlier because the cleaners didn’t speak English, so we were going to be stuck in a very hilly Siena with three suitcases. Then suddenly as we were half way up a hill we got a call at 12pm saying we could drop off our bags but only if we came right that second. So we had to cancel our lunch plans and find a way to get to apartment in that moment. It just wasn’t very easy and I’ve never stayed in a place where it wasn’t accommodating to leave suitcases, especially when the check in was so late in the day. The beds were uncomfortable. The mattresses are very hard and the single beds are super narrow. We were a group of young women, slim framed, and we fell out of the beds. So I can imagine it would be particularly uncomfortable for anyone slightly bigger than us. We didn’t get any advice on restaurants or public transport. After check out we tried contacting two taxi companies and none of them answered. So we ended up getting the bus, only to find out you needed to buy tickets from local shops. And the bus didn’t even turn up! Some guidance from our host would have been appreciated to help us get to the station.

A short walk to the centre of Siena. A single locked garage for the car, was a short 50 metre walk away. Nice backyard. Washing machine. Lovely new bathrooms.

No street parking to drop off bags when you arrive.

Our host, Maurizio, was very nice and accommodating. The apartment was very comfortable with a yard to enjoy. Location was great.

2 modern nicely done bathrooms, comfortable beds, perfect location near city wall, garage if you need parking. Very attentive helpful hosts.

The apartment was incredibly clean and updated. Maurizio met us at the apartment and went over the ins and outs of the property. He also gave us the local places to have dinner which were amazing. A very short walk to the Siena walls. We will recommend to friends. Thanks Maurizio!

Mauritius was avery very nice host, helped us with our suitcases , and brought us alocal wine. The location was great, big and well equiped appartment. We loved staying there. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
