Was not advised as a fully appointed apartment and was actually a bedroom in someone’s home, it was advised to include a full kitchen and living area where in reality it was an outdoor lounge under a small patio with an old sink n bench

Beachfront it was not!

Was looking for a place to 'get away from it all' and Daintree Beach Studio ticked all of the boxes. Away from the bustle, majestic walks along Wonga beach, with solitude in nature being the primary draw cards. The accommodation is setup well with all of the necessities for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Schell is a wonderful host who provided all of the comforts and local information along with guidance to allow visitors to make the most of what this part of Far North Queensland has to offer.

Leaving to head back to the city bustle!

Schell's piece of paradise is a must while visiting this area. I loved hearing the ocean from my room and ended up so relaxed fell asleep on the outside day lounge. It has everything you would need and more. I took a chair down to the beach, wandered along, watched the sunset. It's so close to Daintree and Mosman Gorge. Which is the reason I was there in the first place. It's a perfect piece of heaven. I didnt want to leave. Ive told everyone I meet about this place. Don't miss it. LOVE, PEACE, TRANQUILLITY that is rare to find. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Absolutely everything.

The location and pool.

It is not a Studio - it is a bedroom in a house. The al fresco lounge is open and after dark mosquitos mean you need to go inside the bedroom. The outdoor sink and bbq are open to the elements. There is no hot water and the sink waste empties beside the outdoor table, quite unhygienic (and not compliant). Not what I would describe as a fully functional kitchen.
