This is a perfect location to explore Lisboa but also if feel like beach you can easily drive opposite direction and chill on the beach.

Unfortunately one flat below was being renovated therefore early wake up was obligatory

Location was excellent for the ferry to Lisbon.

We could not access the apartment until 16:00, although I had mentioned that we'd be there by midday. It would have been helpful to have been reminded that this was their rule.The apartment was more style over substance.The bed linen and towels looked less than well washed. There was mould in the bathroom and some parts of the apartment, which made us feel uncomfortable. I'm sorry to say that I would not book this apartment again, nor recommend it. The apartment building itself was rather rundown. We were shocked when we arrived and doubted that we had the right address.

The owner was super friendly and communicative. The check-in was easy and we loved how close the accommodation was to the ferry!

The mattresses were a bit too soft and pillows could be fluffier.

The area is not nice, the noise and the dirt from the works in the building was huge, they didn't even apologize for accommodating us in such conditions. We arrived in the evening but were forced to leave the next day because of the work. We asked for a 100% refund via booking as they did not cooperate, not even answered the call. They charged us one night plus a cleaning fee of 33 EUR. Extremely bad experience and one day of our holiday ruined.

There was cat hair all over. I should expect some from pet-friendly locations but I am very allergic. Also the sofa smelled terrible like sweat

Elsa was a great hostess and though I never met her in person. She was always right there to help out to a family of newbies. We fell in love with the country and it's kind people. We were not sure what to expect as our first time traveling. I say the people take pride in their country and are so will to help a stranger. Many times walking around not knowing where people on the street would stop and ask if we needed help without even asking. They could just sense what we needed. I will surely be back soon.
