TEJO HOUSE RIVER Lisbon (Cacilhas)

Nice property. More of a relaxing property. Learned to take ferry over to Lisbon. Not sure as to where to purchase goods/gifts while there.

No a/c. Could use larger fans.

Location was excellent. “Off the beaten track” Lisbon. We loved the morning sun on the balcony. Quiet area. Great local shop on the corner. Great restaurants 5 min walk away. Prices lower than Lisbon itself. Bolt for under 10 euro to the beach. Perfect. To open the doors you only need the link and your phone! Thoroughly grateful for the welcome bottle of red on our late arrival! Ferry to Lisbon is 5 min walk away.

The lounge blinds were broken & hard to keep down and because the lounge looks straight across at other flats, you felt that you needed to keep the blinds down all the time. Would prefer slatted or Venetian blinds. NO Mirrors in the bedrooms. The only mirror is in the bathroom which wouldn’t be great if more than 2 people staying! Could be a little cleaner

The bad insulations: acoustic and thermal ( rapidly cold at night and most likely hot in summer ) the darkness of the badroom

The location is great. Very close to public transports and good restaurants. Flat has this fancy door system which is also great!

We should've been provided with a set of towels each. My 4 year old child used a baby towel for half of his size and the small towels provided were only 2, bare in mind we were 4 adults and 1 child. It would be great to also have a set of towels each really since washing them and drying them is not an easy task in the winter. Ideally an extra set in case needed and provide a normal size towel to anyone above 2 years old. The other thing we didn't like is the bathroom door, the lock does not work and the door is glass, with the light on there is a total lack of privacy. Prepare the sofa bed for the 5th person if the booking is for 5 like we were. A 4 years old does not sleep in the cot. Hopefully you see this as good advise to improve.

Excellent location very close to the river, next to many nice restaurants, and very easy to get to center of Lisbon with the ferry. Not too noisy, even for a Friday night stay. Apartment well kept, kitchen utensils adequate, with complimentary coffee and a bottle of wine. Overall good alternative to staying in center of Lisbon.

Bathroom was functional and tidy, but could soon do with an upgrade (e.g. only one bathroom with see through glass shower area)
