Elementus Tulum

Property looks decent from the outside. But don’t let that fool you.

Inside our room was very dark. There’s no windows what so ever. It feels like you’re inside a prison lots of humidity in that room like it hasn’t been used for a long time and in one of the bedrooms one of the ACs was leaking it was creating mold and you can tell they were just painting over it.The pillows were very dirty as well as the sheets. The water when you shower seems to be very contaminated as if they put lots of chemicals. Very odd smell to the water.Lights were falling apart. The gyms bathroom is leaking water. Looks it hasn’t been used in months. I’m hoping not all the rooms are in this poor condition. We unfortunately got room D1.

The size and price were excellent. We booked two of the two bedroom apartments for our party of 11.

The wash machine didn’t work and we found out the hard way, when our clothes were wet and dirty. Asked to have it fixed and no one looked at it. We just gave up and took our items to the laundry and paid.

The pool is good specially when it's hot weather. Big beds.

Wifi is working 50% of the time (we stayed 5 days). Everything is rusty (shower, faucet in the bathroom, kitchen, microwave...). Airconditioning leaking on your head in the bed.

Very clean and friendly

Overall, it was a nice stay. Kids could play outside in the pool, which is shallow enough to be safe for children. Location and safety wise, it's an excellent place. The apartment was clean and spacious but infested with cockroaches. I hope the management can have it sprayed soon. If we go to tulum again, it would be our first choice.

We didn't like that the kitchen was infested with cockroaches.

The floora were weird, slippery. Almost felt like sand was always under your toes.

The apartement looked nice, big spaces inside, the pool was also beautiful. The city center is close by car.

The apartement was a bit smelly, with more windows it could have been more ventillated. The room was above the gym, where people started to do the gym at 7:00 in the morning, so we often woke up because of the noise. The shower next to the pool was not working well.
