"Good for short stays and if you plan to be out exploring a lot"

Nicely designed apartment with lovely views. Really comfortable bed. Kitted out with everything you need and some nice little touches/offerings from Jenny. Jenny let us keep our baggage at the flat on the day of check out which helped us.

Noise- there was some loud building works going on during the weekdays meaning we couldn’t enjoy the private terrace and were woken up early Privacy- access to house above is in front of windows (and between windows and private terrace) so it’s not the most private of stays Facilities/ communication- we chose this stay as it had a bbq listed, we asked 3 times to use it but unfortunately received no response each time Towels- towels don’t dry between uses as no heated rail/ not amazingly well ventilated so smells a bit damp over time

Nothing except the rain but my lovely apartment meant I could stay cosy and dry inside.

"Missleading description"

1.0

The property is deceptive and misleading. It is the bottom room of a house with the owners living upstairs. There is no mention of this in the description. We were woken up every morning at 6am by a barking dog. And footsteps from the level above us. The door separating the room and the main house was also not locked. Do not recommend this place.

"Scandi Delight!"

The apartment was perfect for us as a couple, all the comforts and conveniences of home. Great welcome pack. Beautiful views of the beach and ocean and a very relaxing atmosphere. A 15 minute stroll to Avalon village, which catered for all our needs. Easy access to local buses and plenty of lovely walks to discover. Janet and family were really welcoming, allowing us early access, helping with our laundry and even offering a lift to another town. We would highly recommend Scandi beach apartment and thank you Janet, for allowing us to stay at your lovely home Best Wishes, Andy& Julie.
