"Beautiful apartment for a couples get away."

The apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean with nice little touches and the view fantastic. Parking was easy on the street.

Unfortunately it was advertised on Booking.Com as having one single bed and a large double bed and also a sofa bed so I booked it for my 6 foot son and myself and there was nowhere for him to sleep other than in the bed with me. The sofa was not large enough to sleep on and was not what I expected when booked so it made our stay somewhat difficult. There was also quite a bit of noise from the family upstairs which would annoy people not used to children.

The location was absolutely superb, just a short walk to the beach and beautiful views from the patio. There were cute little touches such as local coffee pods, chocolates & it was really well decorated. The bed was comfortable & the tv was set up with netflix which is a pro too.

Unfortunately a few things needed fixing like the shower, air-conditioning (not ideal for people like us who aren't used to the heat) and the toilet was apparently very sensitive to too much toilet paper. This didn't seem like an issue but we were only left with 3/4 of a toilet roll or tissues for a two night stay.... I'm unsure if this was to make sure the toilet didn't get blocked or not. I messaged the owner but they didn't reply until we had checked out despite them living upstairs. 🙃

Scandi Beach Apartment, Bilgola was perfect as I was visiting lots of friends on the Northern Beaches and needed a peaceful and safe place to relax which was centrally located to Avalon, Newport and the beaches. Jenny was extremely helpful and I loved the apartment especially the verandah and view. I highly recommend Scandi Beach Apartment for couples and those travelling alone.

"Great location for visiting family in Avalon but difficult access with some facilities in disrepair."

Location, clean and attractive decor and coffee maker. More pods would have been nice.

Air con plus shower diverter broken plus fly screen ripped and not useable. Parking on street was a problem with a steep climb and many steps to bring our luggage to and from. Over the top to ask us to take out the garbage.
